暑假，野孩子班上一位女同學來花蓮度假，身為地主的野孩子父子，帶著她連續四天上山下海，兩位小孩玩得人仰馬翻，大人四肢「鐵肢」。回程當天，民宿主人送給小女生一隻遭颱風襲擊落難的珠頸斑鳩〈台灣人俗稱斑甲〉，小女生臨別前，高興得提著鳥籠對咱父子說：「你們看，老闆送我一隻小鳥要帶回台北養。」
「養大了要分我們吃，很好吃」，這一刻，父子倆竟然在同一秒脫口而出，眼前小女生和父母則瞪大眼，透露出「我們怎會有野人朋友」的驚恐：「你要是把他抓來吃，我就不和你做好朋友了」，一句憤怒的絕交警訊將我們拉回現實......
