Melbourne was my 1st stop when I arrived in Australia. I spent in the city around 1 month, but I didn't know there were the steam trains in the Melbourne suburb until I saw some photos from my friends.
I always think of I'd like to take the steam train one day if I go to Melbourne again. Finally I made it with my family after so many years. 💗
Puffing Billy is Australia's premier preserved steam railway. It's definitely worthy to take the steam train. You can find more information from their website.

墨爾本普芬比利蒸汽火車
這個月初我們在墨爾本東部郊區搭了古董蒸汽火車，這也是澳洲最有名的蒸汽火車，這裡的蒸氣火車有百年歷史。蒸氣火車從西元1900年開始修建，一開始是為了載乘客、馬鈴薯、木材、植物等。
最特別的是這裡的站務人員都是志工，他們身穿傳統的鐵路制服。當站務長搖著鈴鐺，火車就準備出發囉！讓人彷彿回到20世紀初，火車一路穿越丹頓農山脈。
這裡的蒸汽火車曾經允許火車乘客將腳伸出火車外，後來發生過意外，現在已經禁止這樣的行為。
每天4個班次，共有5站，一般觀光客都是選擇從第一站Belgrave搭到第二站Menzies Creek，僅僅30分鐘車程。一個比較高級的蒸氣火車等級，就是坐餐車享受午餐，這個餐車的蒸氣火車票價每人90澳幣起。
