Today, I'm going to make "OMURICE".
"OMURICE" is called omelette rice in English.
It was born in Japan and is a dish of stir-fried rice seasoned with ketchup, wrapped in a thin sheet of fried scrambled eggs.
Tomato is in season during summer in Japan and I made ketchup from scratch using a lot of fresh tomatoes.
"OMURICE" has a nice balance of richness of eggs and sourness of tomatoes.
