If there really is a tree of life than I was fortunate enough to see it today up high in the mountains of Hokkaido. I stopped snowboarding and had to turn back when I saw this majestic tree 🌳. It called out to me, a symbol of growth, beauty, and uniqueness. Just stare at it for a second. I hope u are able to feel what I felt, a moment of serenity, an abundance of hope, a shot of joy and happiness, a blissful optimism. 2019 has been a trying time, an exciting time, an emotional time. But what I have learned is that life marches on and we must move forward. Better yourself and your community, uplift your friends, and be kind. Let go of things you have no control over, complain less, and do more.
This shining white tree stood there in front of me, the sky hanging like a dark blue curtain, and it grows...slowly it grows. This tree survives the harshest winters, its leaves bloom every spring, it sings in the summer and wails in the fall. It is resilient, it moves on as we must do ourselves.
Jackie and I look forward to what I am sure will be an unforgettable 2020. We wish to make fantastic memories with Ryder & Makayla. We want to smile, laugh, and cry with our family and friends. And lastly we want to share these precious moments with you.
