Your Body is God’s Temple
““Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods,” but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. Now God raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power. Don’t you know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be! Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, “The two”, he says, “will become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6:13-20 WEB)
I believe that seeing your body as God’s temple will transform the way you treat it.
If God had designed for us to still be worshipping Him in a temple built of gold, wood, and stones, would you go and defile the walls with graffiti, toss lots of junk into it, have your way with prostitutes inside, and let it fall into disrepute? No way, right?
Probably the number one reason why we don’t treat our bodies right is because we are not conscious of it being God’s temple.
We go around daily, thinking that the condition of our body is not that important, and that other things are more urgent.
When we get busy, hydration is neglected, meals are skipped or irregular, exercise is dropped, hygiene is forgotten, sleep is sacrificed, and the body is just sadly abused.
The body is the house of the Holy Spirit, and we ought to treat it right.
If the president (or someone else of a much higher rank that you respect) announces one day that he will be staying at your house, you will surely clean up the house and prepare it nicely right?
Then why are we so casual when God is dwelling in our body, and He has promised to stay forever? Does He not deserve the grandest, most glorious house with the best maintenance?
Thankfully, we have a better way than natural methods to care for God’s temple. If your body is in a bad state, and needs some major renovation, the Holy Spirit can work an awesome transformation by His power. It is a change that everyone can see.
“Younger and Younger: 31 Days of God’s Youth Renewal Promises” was birthed from a rhema word that I received from within. “Younger and younger.” It was a season about learning how to renew my youth by God’s way, and become overall healthier, stronger, and more beautiful.
Since then, many readers have given good feedback, expressing that people around them also started commenting that they look younger, after they applied the truths shared within the book.
Some readers especially love the “Eternal Youth Declarations Audio” that comes as a bonus mp3 file to recap on the youth declarations in the book, and it’s also a good way to have God’s youth renewal promises confessed over you all day long. Soaking yourself in God’s word is always a powerful, life-giving, and beneficial activity.

💎 If you say heaven is not far from you, only a couple of nine, would you believe? 🌉
🎯 We are not lying and not exaggerating because of heaven! Nakhon Sawan is 239 kilometers away from Bangkok. It's enough to be raw. ⭐
🎭 This trip, we received an invitation from Thailand, Nakhon Sawan office to explore the tourist route in Nakhon Sawan province. Follow the famous drama "cage" 🌟
🎇 "cage" has a plot that goes on the district. Takhli and district Chum Saeng, province. Nakhon Sawan, there is a main place at Junction. The reason why I use the junction is because "Chula Mani" the composer of this novel is the people of Nakhon Sawan province. 🆗
🎉 Another thing I'm quite surprised is that the most growing area is at the junction. I think it has been phetchaburi for a long time. 🎁
🌴 Soon at the Junction, there is going to be a big event " eating tan season of community " and " tradition of the month of 5, Luang Pho Phra Royal Pagoda " which will be held. On April 18-19, 2562 at Wat Wai Chainuea 💈
🎊 inside the event, there is an event to cover the royal pagoda and processed products from Tan Tan. Selling products from Tan Tan, etc. 🌻
🍂 Let's come back to our review. We will take everyone to travel around Nakhon Sawan province since the district. Takhli. Phayuhakhiri District Chum Saeng, district. Kao turn, district. Mueang Nakhon Sawan. Let me tell you that this trip is complete. Follow the drama. Pay homage to monks. Pay respect to the holy things, including taking a place to cool down during the Songkran festival. I guarantee that it will be fun for sure. 🍀

13 reason why season 4 在 pennyccw Youtube 的最佳貼文
The Denver Nuggets don't care if they win ugly sometimes.
Allen Iverson scored 23 points and Kenyon Martin had 20 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks to lead Denver to a 101-97 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.
"You've got to win ugly in this league," Nuggets coach George Karl said. "There's no way you win pretty every night."
John Salmons led the Kings with 25 points, and Beno Udrih added 24 for the Kings, who had a chance to win in the closing seconds despite playing the second of back-to-back games. Francisco Garcia missed a 3-pointer with 1.9 seconds left that would have given Sacramento a 100-99 lead, and then the Kings threw away the ensuing inbounds pass with .7 seconds left.
"I got fouled on that last 3," said Garcia, who finished with 21 points. "I thought (Iverson) hit my hands; that's why I fell."
It wasn't a pretty finish, but it was fitting for this game. The Nuggets couldn't put away Sacramento despite leading by 12 at halftime and 13 early in the third quarter. The Kings kept crawling back, thanks to 26 Denver turnovers.
"The 26 turnovers was kind of crazy," Karl said. "I want play aggressive, I want to play fast, I want to play wild at times, but I don't want to pass the ball crazy."
The last turnover was nearly the most costly. With Denver leading 99-97, Udrih stole Iverson's pass with 8.9 seconds left. Ron Artest drove to the bucket but kicked it out to Garcia for a 3.
"When it is all said and done, we had a chance to win it, and we didn't," Sacramento coach Reggie Theus said.
Anthony Carter was a big reason the Kings didn't win. The guard tied his season high in points with 17, and he kept the Nuggets close with 10 points in the third quarter.
"The opportunity was there," Carter said. "They kept coming off of me. I was trying to shoot the ball, take the ball to the basket and create."
With Carmelo Anthony struggling, Denver needed Carter's offense to enter the fourth quarter down by only one.
"I don't know if we win it without AC and Kenyon playing like they were playing," Karl said. "They had good energy."
The Nuggets led 59-47 at the intermission and increased it to 65-52 before the Kings made a run. Salmons' 3 with 4:38 left in the third cut Denver's lead to 69-68.
Salmons' steal and fast-break bucket, and Udrih's two layup gave Sacramento a 76-71 lead late in the third quarter.
The Nuggets trailed 80-77 early in the fourth when J.R. Smith converted a three-point play to tie it. Carter made a layup, and after a Sacramento turnover, Iverson's layup made it 84-80.
Artest and Udrih hit buckets to tie the game with 7:46 left, but the Nuggets went on an 8-0 run and the Kings were never able to take the lead in the fourth.
"We worked hard to come back and give ourselves a chance to win the game," Udrih said.
Iverson scored 19 in the first half as the Nuggets built a double-digit lead. His tip-in with 8:02 left in the second quarter was part of a 14-2 Nuggets run that gave them the lead.
During that run, he scored on a layup and fed Martin on an alley-oop that made it 50-42.
The Kings stayed with the Nuggets in the first quarter. Salmons had 15 points on 7-for-8 shooting in the first 10 minutes to give Sacramento an early lead. Iverson had 11 points and Anthony had 10 of his 14 to keep the game tied at 34 heading into the second quarter.
Game notes
Nuggets C Marcus Camby had his 6,000th career rebound in the first quarter. ... Nuggets F Eduardo Najera suffered a left knee contusion in the first quarter when he collided with Kings C Spencer Hawes with 2:23 left in the period. He hit a free throw before leaving the game with 6.5 seconds left. He did not return.

13 reason why season 4 在 pennyccw Youtube 的最讚貼文
The New York Knicks got their first look at Dikembe Mutombo in a Philadelphia 76ers uniform. In the end, they saw enough of Allen Iverson.
Without center Marcus Camby to provide his shot-blocking prowess, the Knicks had no second line of defense for Philadelphia's electrifying guard and suffered an 89-82 loss to the 76ers.
The absence of Camby became pronounced in the final minutes after Latrell Sprewell scored eight straight points to pull the Knicks within 79-77.
But Iverson would not let his team fall apart. He hit a 19-foot jumper over Sprewell from the left sideline with 2:57 left.
On New York's next two possessions, the intimidation factor of the 7-foot-2 Mutombo caused Kurt Thomas to go too strong off the backboard on a running layup and Sprewell had a layup attempt partially blocked by George Lynch.
"They did a good job of coming on the weak side to help on the one drive that I had," Sprewell said. "Lynch got a piece of it. And the one Kurt (Thomas) had, Dikembe's presence was felt on that play. Those were two baskets we could have used down the stretch."
Philadelphia's Aaron McKie drove to the basket and converted a layup over Thomas to increase the lead to 83-77 with 2:03 remaining.
Allan Houston, who returned to the lineup after missing three games with a thigh bruise, hit a jumper while he was fouled by Eric Snow and made the free throw to complete the three-point play, pulling the Knicks within 83-80 with 1:41 left.
After a Philadelphia turnover, the Knicks had a chance to tie it but a 3-point attempt by Sprewell rimmed out.
Iverson then isolated on Sprewell at the top of the key, blew right by him and hit a floater in the lane over Glen Rice -- a far cry from a shot-blocking presence like Camby -- with 49 seconds remaining.
"The little kid (Iverson) made two big shots and when they got it within two we made defensive stops," said Sixers coach Larry Brown.
"We played hard enough to win, we just didn't play well enough to win," said Knicks coach Jeff Van Gundy. "When the game got tight, Iverson made shots."
Snow and Kevin Ollie each hit a pair of free throws in the final 26 seconds for Philadelphia (55-25), which has already clinched homecourt advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs.
"The guys understand that if I'm going well, I'm going to have the ball in my hand," Iverson said. "If any team doubles me or tries to take something away from me, my teammates are going to make shots. If we do that, we'll be alright going into the playoffs."
The San Antonio Spurs have earned homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs, but the Sixers are still competing with teams like Sacramento (54-25) and the Los Angeles Lakers (54-26) for the homecourt in a possible NBA Finals matchup.
The Knicks squandered an opportunity to tie Miami for the seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Heat, which lost at home to Orlando, 90-73 on Sunday, lead the Knicks by one game with two games left in the regular season.
If the Knicks go into the playoffs as the fourth seed, they would play the Sixers in the second round if both teams advance.
"If we play with that type of effort and energy, it doesn't matter who we play," Sprewell said. "If we do the right things on the floor, it's about us and not who we're playing."
Iverson finished with 27 points. Mutombo was the major reason why the Sixers outrebounded the Knicks, 49-33, grabbing 16 boards.
"I am encouraged when we win with defense and rebounding," Brown said. "That is the only way this team is going to survive."
Camby, New York's 6-11 center, suffered a hip contusion in New York's loss at Indiana last Wednesday and is expected to be sidelined for a week.
Sprewell scored 12 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter for New York.
Houston had 15 points, but missed 11-of-16 shots. Rice was just 4-of-11 from the field.
"We had a lot of wide-open shots, but the ball wasn't going in," Rice said. "You're going to have games like that."
The Knicks raced to a 16-6 lead as the Sixers missed 11 of their first 12 shots.
But Iverson hit a pair of jumpers and two layups and McKie added five points as the Sixers responded with a 13-4 run to pull within 20-19. Rice ended the quarter with a layup for New York

13 reason why season 4 在 pennyccw Youtube 的最佳解答
Shaq attacked, Kobe bounced back and the Los Angeles Lakers got on track.
The Lakers responded like defending champions and evened the NBA Finals at one game each with a 98-89 victory over the feisty Philadelphia 76ers.
Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant both had huge games for the Lakers, who were stunned in overtime in Game One but found a way to slow down Allen Iverson. They held the league Most Valuable Player to 23 points, 10 off his playoff average and less than half of his 48-point explosion in the opener.
O'Neal flirted with the first quadruple-double in Finals history with 28 points, 20 rebounds, nine assists and a record-tying eight blocked shots. Working against Defensive Player of the Year Dikembe Mutombo, he was a one-man wrecking crew in the last five minutes of the third quarter, when the Lakers grabbed control.
"Coach wanted to me to protect the basket more," said O'Neal, who tied a record shared by Bill Walton, Hakeem Olajuwon and Patrick Ewing. "We felt they were getting too many easy shots the first half. So I just tried to step up my defense in the second half."
"I thought Shaq was the dramatically better defensive player in this game," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said.
After a poor performance in Game One, Bryant reminded everyone that he is a superstar, too. He scored 31 points and was extremely aggressive on the offensive end, giving Philadelphia's defense fits.
"I was so upset after Game One," Bryant said. "I didn't want to come out and try to do too much to start the game and take us out of the rhythm of our offense."
"Kobe obviously got a little more room today," Jackson said. "He got some rhythm in his shot and he played a much better game."
Derek Fisher, who was shut out in the opener, also bounced back nicely with 14 points, including a clutch 3-pointer down the stretch. The shot turned back a last-gasp rally by the 76ers, who threw another scare into the heavily favored Lakers.
Even with Iverson frustrated, Philadelphia cut a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter to 89-86 with more than two minutes to go. But the 76ers stalled themselves by making a Shaq-like 6-of-16 free throws in the final period, including four misses each by Iverson and rookie Raja Bell.
In the waning seconds, Iverson and Bryant got into a heated shouting match and had to be separated by teammates and referees.
"In the heat of the battle, nothing's friendly," Bryant said.
"Ask him," Iverson said. "That's just basketball, man."
Bryant, Fisher and Tyronn Lue combined to do a credible job on Iverson, who made just 10-of-29 shots. He was hit in the face three times in the first half but did not go to the line until the fourth quarter. During the season, Iverson averaged 10 free throws per game.
"As much punishment as I take out there, things that I go through out there, I just can't remember the last time I only went to the free throw line (four times)," Iverson said.
"I would hope he'll get a little more respect," Sixers coach Larry Brown said.
Game Three is Sunday in Philadelphia, where the series shifts for the next three games. The Sixers are trying to win their first title since 1983.
O'Neal's overpowering third quarter gave the Lakers a 77-67 lead going into the final period. Iverson got a technical foul for arguing a non-call after shooting an airball on a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Iverson's first free throws came at the 10:31 mark and he missed both. Bryant had a 3-pointer, lobbed to O'Neal for a dunk and made a pair at the line to give LA its largest lead at 86-73 with 7:10 left.
But O'Neal took a seat with his fifth foul 32 seconds later and the Sixers began their customary comeback. They pressured the ball, forced bad shots and attacked the basket, creeping within 89-86 with 2:24 to play.
"We ended up taking a game that was relatively benign and making it pretty exciting in the end," Jackson said. "We did it through no good clock management or ball management."
"They keep on coming. They play hard," Bryant said. "You have to respect that."
Los Angeles committed six fouls and five turnovers as Philadelphia fought back without a single point from Iverson, who missed two more from the line during the rally. Bell missed three early in the surge.
"The way we kept fighting back and coming back, I think we spent a lot of energy," Brown said. "Maybe that affected us a little when we went to the free-throw line late."
The Lakers dumped it in to O'Neal, who was double-teamed before finding Fisher, whose 3-pointer from the top opened a 92-86 lead with 2:08 to go.
"He's not only a great scorer on the post, he's a tremendous passer," said Brown, whose squad used more double-teams than in Game One. "That's what you get. You've got to take some poison."
"The reason why I kicked the ball out a lot (was) because they doubled," O'Neal said. "When teams double us, I look to get my other guys involved."
Eric Snow, who earlier took a charge from the 330-pound O'Neal, missed a jumper and Bryant zipped a pass to Ron Harper for a layup with 1:19 left. Iverson made a 3-pointer 16 seconds later but Philadelphia did not score again.
The Lakers shot 47 percent (38-of-81) from the field despite missing their first nine 3-pointers. O'Neal helped them to a 52-42 edge on the glass and got Bryant out in the open court for some easy baskets. Los Angeles had 13 blocks, a Finals record.
"That started our transition," Bryant said. "By him getting blocks, that enabled us guards to get out and run the floor and get easy opportunities."
Mutombo had 16 points and 13 boards for the Sixers, who shot just 39 percent (34-of-87). Aaron McKie scored 14 points, Todd MacCulloch had a playoff career-high 13 and Snow added 12.
In the last five minutes of the third quarter, O'Neal flashed all of the skills that make him the game's best player. He fed Robert Horry and Bryant for dunks around a pair of blocks, giving the Lakers the lead for good at 65-61.
After missing 5-of-6 from the line in the first half, O'Neal made 3-of-4. He added a dunk and smothered MacCulloch, leading to a runner by Bryant for a 72-65 lead. Fisher closed the quarter with a steal, dunk and 3-pointer off a pass from O'Neal.
"Shaq made some very nice passes off the post," Jackson said.
Bryant made 11-of-23 shots. As expected, he came out firing and scored 12 points in the first quarter. Iverson missed his first four shots and Philadelphia looked like it was in trouble as Mutombo and forward Tyrone Hill went to bench with their second fouls 19 seconds apart.
But MacCulloch and Matt Geiger came on and played solid, combining for 11 points over the next nine minutes. A layup by MacCulloch gave the Sixers a 40-33 lead with 6:36 left in the second quarter and Mutombo and Hill returned.
Mutombo backed off O'Neal, allowing him to take over down low. He scored 10 points over the next four minutes to give LA a 45-43 lead with 1:46 remaining.
In the first half, Iverson did not attempt a free throw and the Lakers did not make a 3-pointer, missing seven. Bryant scored 16 points, one more than his total for Game One.
