Heading to Taitung for three days, looking for inspiration, sounds and stories.
I went to sakuban puyama Peinan in this morning (are one of the indigenous groups of the Taiwanese aborigines. ) thanks to the lovely MuMu performed traditional songs of blessings to me. @ 普悠瑪部落
休假結束，可是我的心還在台東😇
是的！上週默默跑出去玩啦！天氣爆炸好，一天洗兩次澡，40°C沒在開玩笑，但每張照片都好好看😆
久違的家庭旅遊，第一次自駕到東部，辛苦家裡那台20年老車了。4天3夜行程很隨性，視當下心情決定，覺得哪邊美就停下來看風景。吃飯也很隨意，想吃什麼就查附近評價不錯的餐廳，然後每天都在吃冰🍨
全家人唯一共識就是，盡量避開報復性人潮。除了在某些地方車子停很遠，烈日下走路走到結屎臉外，大部分的戶外景點還是可以拍到沒有人的空景。
大家對台東的印象是什麼呢？其實這是我第一次在台東待超過2天，有機會再來這裡好好生活吧🥰

Have you been to Taitung? My family trip last week. The weather was super hot but we had a great time and took lots of beautiful photos. In fact, it's my first time that I stayed in Taitung for more than 2 days. But this time, I still haven't had time to get to know this place well. I'll come back again and stay longer if I have a chance!

從台北開車五個多小時來東部三天兩夜遊就是為了到訪這家幾個月前已訂好的餐廳。 果然不負眾望，十分值得。
以東部本地的食材加上屬於傳統法式料理的烹調，每一道菜都很有特色。因为菜單是吃完才给，每道菜都不知出什麼。本以為牛排便是主菜，誰不知之後還可以出一道海鮮而完全可以把味道接上。自家裝的麵包和起司相當有風味。整套菜單高潮一浪接一浪，完成度很高！
有機會一定再回來！
Reserved few months in advance for dinner, quality of this restaurant is well worth the 5+ hour drive to the east coast for a 3 days 2 nights trip.
Primarily using ingredients from East Taiwan with classic French style cooking and as menu was only provided after the meal, each dish is a mystery until it was served and unique in its own way. Assuming the usual of having the steak as the main course, the local lobster served afterwards was really a surprise, and the taste was intense enough to follow through after the beef. The homemade bread and cheese also brings out the character of the restaurant. Throughout the dinner, with precise execution, each dish could echo the previous dish and smoothly transit into the following courses making the menu very complete.
With its uniqueness which can’t be found anywhere in the world, I’ll definitely visit regularly!!

Visited Taiwan in July 2017 for 9 days and this time round, we managed to cover quite a few places, and even got to see the Taiwan International Balloon Festival and a free outdoor concert in Hualien!
Getting around Taiwan is pretty easy even if you're backpacking, we got around everywhere mainly on the Taiwan Railway (TRA) across different cities and took the Tourism Shuttle within the city to all the places we went (:
