I’ll be joining a group of uber fit, toned and beautiful people at a fitness retreat (what was I thinking?!😩) in less than 2 weeks and that’s motivational enough for me to quickly lose 5kg. Right?
Erm.. no. After entertaining the thoughts of going on crash diets and detox supplements for the first half of the day, I remember that I’ve promised to accept myself and this body unconditionally. And that means I don’t use fear for how I look as a motivator to lose weight quickly and to treat my body unkindly.
So there really is only one way. To eat right and exercise. We lose weight when we burn more calories than we consume. Now excuse me while I squat and burpees away! 🤸🏻♀️
