Hakikatnya, tak begitu! Air banyak-banyak yang kita minum tadi akan keluar dari badan sebagai air kencing, dan gula tadi kekal dalam badan.
Jadi, berapa banyak pun kita minum air kosong selepas atau sebelum itu, tetap ada 50mg gula telah masuk dan berada dalam tubuh kita.
Gula tu, hanya akan hilang jika kita bakar dia dengan melakukan aktiviti fizikal. Nak bakar 50g gula ni perlu berjalan 1 jam, atau jogging 30 minit.

Kesimpulannya: gula berlebihan dalam badan, tak boleh dikurangkan dengan minum air kosong banyak-banyak. Sebab gula tu tak akan keluar melalui air kencing.
Kalau dah tahap keluar melalui air kencing, itu dah kena kencing manis namanya.
