2018 年發跡的新銳饒舌團體 ROOFTOP MOB，從音樂、後製、影像、美術設計等等皆由團隊成員一手包辦，作品的美術與質感具有一定水平。早先 ROOFTOP MOB 正式發行了團體首張合輯《REEF》，而主打 Old School 風格的成員之一 Aminato 亦在不久前推出全新 Mixtape《Blue City》，趁著本次機會，便邀請他與我們聊聊他自己，同時也說說在這張充滿深層意識與精美設計的混音帶背後究竟有什麼故事？

【Hip-HØp Univer$ity】Rooftop Mob

2018 年末以台藝嘻研社名義發表的〈聖誕 Cypher〉還在他們頻道上，但此刻，這群人已停止校內社團活動。以 Rooftop Mob 為名發表作品、製作專輯。他們說：「嘻研社時期，我們就思考把音樂當成一個事業的可能。」

台藝大過往沒有與嘻哈相關的團體，嘻研社這群人一開始怎麼聚集在一起創社的？

Rooftop Mob：
電影系的 Aminato 當初想拍一支和嘻哈有關的紀錄片，剛好碰到另外一位想要創嘻研社的成員，結果後來 Aminato 自己也加入這個團了⋯⋯至於這一群人更早怎麼湊起來，有人是聽別人的前女友提到對方會聽嘻哈，有人是上課時看到對方的貼紙認出是某個嘻哈歌手的專輯，對到眼時比個嘻哈打招呼手勢，然後就一起出來吃飯了。

團隊會有日常的聚會、工作以外的 hang out 嗎？最近一次成員一起聊得熱烈的話題是什麼？

Rooftop Mob：
最近在研究團隊相關的事的除了創作之外、也會思考如何有趣地讓大家更認識我們，所以我們常討論上架的 vlog 內容，並且花一定時間在執行這件事。另外，我們好像有大量的時間，都在幹話人生。很常一個很普通的事件，都有辦法加油添醋，有時候會不小心昇華到很哲學的程度。

你們如何定義自己與其他團隊的差異？

Rooftop Mob：
從科班環境出身的我們，滿清楚知道藝術其實是很難去做比較的，每種類型也都有喜歡的人，所以主要會專注在自己是否完整體現自己風格或是熱愛的事物，畢竟要對得起自己的作品，一直都是我們的宗旨。總之我們很要求作品本身能不能反映我們真實的樣子，並非盲目地去追尋大家在做的事情，要不斷嘗試用我們的藝術去碰撞這個環境。
