趁着黑雨，完成最後的20分鐘，我想話我總括這套documentary電影八個字：「蕩氣迴腸，大開眼界」！
海洋生物對我來說好像是外星人，他們的精密設計，驚為天人。生命對於大自然來說，教會我們的事實在太多，一條八爪魚的生命大概一年，每一刻都可以成為別人的獵物，而交配後自己亦都步向死亡，身體成為其他鯊魚魚類大快朵頤的美好時光。
導演兼主角跟足一年，他能夠與八爪魚有着前所未有的信任，他形容為他不再是一個「探訪者」，他已經逐漸成為「自己人」，他的努力沒有白費。主角回到去童年時候的海邊，重新找回自己，也找回生命的樂趣，與家庭失去了的連繫，回歸生命的本質。他往後建立保護海藻珊瑚區的團體，兒子也成為一個小小的海洋探知歷險家。
人類何其渺小，知道的也何其少，海洋世界教人害怕，也教人嚮往。
我相信下個星期潛進水裏去，我又會有另一番更深的感受及體會。

【Call of Duty新Game預告有六四畫面 大陸幾時會將遊戲下架？】

《決勝時刻黑色行動：冷戰》（Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War）將於8月26日推出，早前廠商發佈最新遊戲預告片，以冷戰時期的史實片段，展現世界各地遭鎮壓的畫面，當中有1秒就是六四屠城前，學生對抗坦克車的畫面。
事件曝光以後，大陸小粉紅批評遊戲故意輸出意識形態，中共機關已迅速封殺該預告片，廠商要刪減畫面後方獲批准繼續宣傳。這明顯反映中共無孔不入的審查，誇張至甚麼程度，連一秒的歷史真相也容不下。
值得一提的是，Call of Duty的遊戲開發商便正好是暴雪（Blizzard），即去年曾將在電競賽事期間高呼「光復香港，時代革命」的香港選手Blitzchung（吳偉聰）禁賽兼沒收獎金的廠商。
當時事件引起極大國際關注，隨著世界各地玩家和電競選手抗議，以致抵制遊戲，終促使暴雪總裁布拉克（J. Allen Brack）公開承認處理事件手法不妥當，向玩家道歉並負責，承諾今後會保護玩家的言論自由。
無論如何，Call Of Duty新Game推出後，我一定會大力宣傳推廣，兼且會進行網上直播。一句到尾，若然小粉紅玻璃心至如此地步，倒不如將Call Of Duty歷年的所有遊戲全數下架。
姑且看看最終中共當局會如何應對，會否真的重演《動森》下架事件？我們拭目以待。

1. After #CallOfDutyBlackOpsColdWar released its teaser, original teaser was swiftly under heavy criticism by Chinese trolls and banned in #China for having a one-second documentary shot of #TiananmenSquareMassacre (1:05) in the teaser.
2. Clearly, this is another game censorship after the recent ban on Animal Crossing, which #Hongkongers take our activism into video games. And also #Blizzard saga last year, where a Hearthstone player was banned for supporting #Hongkong.
3. But this time it's even more ridiculous. #Beijing attempts to ban a Cold War game just because the game mentions a Cold War event that the regime wants to remove from its history book. Under #China's tightening ideological grip, game censorship will only intensify.

我們的家教CJ要去美國讀文學博士學位，希望我幫他寫推薦信申請全額奬學金，我當下立刻二話不說幫他寫。兒子跟女兒看到我這樣做，就說：「爸爸你對CJ很好耶」
「那當然，因為我們也很幸運能有CJ當你們的家教啊，CJ也是我們的貴人啊」
CJ真的是很特別的家教，他在孩子還小的時候（7歲跟5歲），就給孩子注入了老靈魂，他會帶吉他來我們家彈披頭四的歌並且解釋歌詞中的詩意跟智慧給孩子，所以我在英文原文推薦信刻意置入一段speaking words of wisdom from the lyrics of let it be, 希望對方的文化水平可以看得懂我的幽默隱喻
而我們也是很特別的家長，因為我們回家時也常常看到他們三個窩在沙發上看netflix, 通常一般家長就會很火大付那麼錢是要你陪小孩看電視嗎？ 但高智慧如我立刻就察覺他們在看的節目是有教育意義的像是二戰歷史，像是Rosa Park人權事件，像是女權主義。
他讓小孩了解為什麼人要學習歷史，因為要從過去的錯誤中學習，確保種族歧視不會再發生，納粹的暴行不會再重覆。
我們因為太喜歡他的全方位教學，於是連續二年帶他一起去歐洲跟著我們全家去歐洲做生意。 當我們家長在各個城市做生意時，他並不只是個保姆，而是會刻意帶小孩們去大量的博物館跟藝廊，了解文藝復興這時期對於奠定歐洲在接下來五百年的科學超前其他地區的關鍵因素。
對我的小孩來說，CJ不只是個英文家教，而是人生導師，他會導讀動物農場並且跟他們解釋背後的含義。 會跟小孩在花神咖啡館一邊吃冰一邊解釋薩特在這間咖啡廳寫的《存在與虛無》這本偉大著作對於存在主義有多麼的重要。會在疫情時期跟他們分享卡繆的《瘟疫》裡的小人物的人性的光輝與醜陋，當時就跟現在一模一樣。會帶他們去諾曼第海灘，讓他們了解這個D day戰場對於現代世界的塑造有多麼重要。
我的孩子很幸運能遇到這樣優秀的大哥哥教會他們很多東西，我也像個慈父一樣，希望這個大兒子可以勇於去追求自己的熱情。

I am writing this recommendation letter on behalf of Ching-Jen Sun, whom I have known for 5 years and we all call him CJ. Initially I hired him as the English tutor for both of my children. However, I soon started to realize CJ is more than just an English tutor, his diversified interests sparked my children’s curiosity in various aspects in life. One day he would bring a guitar and speaking words of wisdom from singing along Beatle’s lyrics of “let it be” to my children, another day he would watch World War II documentary film with my children and explained to them why they should learn history, so that the atrocity of Nazi and racism should never be repeated.
As I got to know him better, I started to trust him more by weighing more educative responsibility on his shoulder. For business purposes, each year I would take the entire family touring around Europe for more than a month and CJ would travel with us and help me to babysit my children while I work.
However, CJ far exceeded my expectation as a babysitter, whichever city we went, every afternoon he would take them to the museum and art galleries, his vast knowledge of art and literature in different era never ceases to amaze me.
To my children, CJ is not only an English tutor, but rather a mentor. Regardless of my children’s precocious ages (11 and 9), he would ask them to read George Orwell’s 《Animal Farm》 and explained to them the philosophical context beneath the surface of the story. He would explain to them the significance of existentialism of Jean Paul Sartre as they sat under the balcony hood of Cafe de Fleur in Paris. He would take the kids to Normandy beach and taught them that was the battle field that defined the modern world.
During Covid-19, he would read Albert Camus’ 《La Peste》to my children and pointed out the similarity of humanity between past and present.
His diversified interests are not confined within literature world, as a good baseball pitcher and slugger himself, CJ often would take them out to play baseball and explained to them the beauty of baseball game.
Throughout the years my children and CJ had developed a very strong brotherhood and I feel compelled to recommend this bright, hard-working and courteous young man to your faculty as I have a very strong confidence that he would add extra aura to your team, as he had to mine.

The production crew of “Elves of Taiwan” partakes in perhaps the most difficult animal rescue operations in line with conservation efforts and the most dignified science-based survey projects. The program unveils diversified local landscapes and endemic species completed by various angles and perspectives—from aerial rescues, ocean investigations, to underground bone excavations; it is indeed a brutally honest series that documents the conservation and restoration of the terrestrial, oceanic, and airborne endemic species in Taiwan.
A pangolin is hunted every five minutes in the world on average. It’s the most seriously poached mammal on earth. The film crew climbs the rock and follows Dr. Ching-Min Sun, a renowned pangolin researcher, in his tracking for pangolins. We monitor their life journeys and try to dig out burrows and the truth behind their deaths. In 50 years, Taiwan has transformed from a hunting ground to a breeding ground for pangolins. After years of conservation, pangolins in Taiwan are increasing with the highest wildlife density in the world. The island has become the last fortress for pangolins worldwide.

The film crew participates in Taiwan humpback dolphin surveys by Ocean Conservation Administration on the sea, captures a rare humpback dolphin group, and explores root causes behind their dwindling populations. Also, we document the largest pygmy killer whale rescue effort by 2,000 people over 56 days. We follow researchers to Orchid Island, an outer islet of Taiwan, to uncover the bones of a baby sperm whale, and record the tragic deaths of stranded melon-headed whales and blue whales. Their survivals and deaths are symptomatic of a deteriorating marine environment.

In the Southwestern badlands in Taiwan, there is a very mysterious owl of terrestrial habitats, the Taiwan grass owls, and as of today, scientists are still unable to decipher its whereabouts and behaviors. Against all odds, the production team followed up all kinds of clues for two years— from bird net rescues, follow-up research, to nocturnal studies— and is finally able to present the stirring life story of these aerial elves of Taiwan as they face the changes and destructions in their habitats.
