「霜降」即露水凝結為霜而降的意思。踏入秋季最後一個節氣，雖然就南方氣候而言，天氣並未明顯轉冷，但早上及晚上已漸感到涼意，秋風瑟瑟，落葉知秋，地下漸多泛黃的落葉。由於秋燥的影響，身體明顯感到乾燥，嘴唇脫皮或皮膚痕癢等症狀更是常見，這時候就要好好潤肺生津。「肺主皮毛」，適量進食滋陰潤肺的食物，或在辦公室檯頭置一部放濕機，有助改善皮膚乾燥症狀。除此以外，也要習慣帶備一件外套或披肩，以防因捉摸不定轉季天氣而著涼。
