📽Funding sought to help send Little Leaguers to US
Coaches are seeking corporate sponsors and donations to send Taiwan's Little League team to the U.S. The national team, which is made up of children from the East Coast, has qualified to compete in the Babe Ruth World Series this summer. Coaches say public funding has been limited, and the amount so far is not enough to cover new uniforms.
花蓮富源國小棒球隊，和東部其他學校，組成少棒國家隊，即將在今年7月，遠赴美國參加2020世界少棒錦標賽。不過這群偏鄉孩子，長期缺乏資源，許多訓練用的球具，已經損壞，就連球褲也有破洞，急需各界經費資助，一圓出國比賽的夢想。
