Ping river is my backyard growing up in Chiang Mai. It is also one of the headstreams of the Chao Phraya River which then goes into the Gulf of Thailand. I remember swimming in the river when I was little and how it was so clean. Now sadly the river banks are often the collection points for rubbish dumped further upstream and the river itself is often blackened and foaming with raw sewage. Ping, like any other rivers around the world, is more than a river, it is a community and to preserve our community, we must preserve our river.
With so much free time, I’ve been exploring the nature with my new Beosound Explore which is also waterproof! Collecting trash has never been more enjoyable with a good portable sound system. 🎶💃🏻
