Loving our latest family portrait.
It wasn't the most comfortable for us to be wearing heels, a skin hugging dress, long shirt and pants or frilly dresses and hairbands when we had to walk a good distance from our car to this photo taking spot, carrying our barang-barang including a second outfit and running shoes for everyone.
The sun was hot, our feet were uncomfortable, all of us were starting to perspire but thankfully, we still managed to do it as the kids were cooperative or in the photographer's words, quite "well-trained". Nonetheless, casual is more of our style and I know everyone just wanted to change into our jumpers real quick.
But, I am still so glad that we did this because.... so NICE mah! Love that we look more formal and polished here - it doesn't happen often - and the whole garden scene helped to paint a pretty picture too.
Thanks to @bloomphotographysg for making the ordinary look extraordinary and for giving us these priceless memories to keep for life.
P.S. There were actually quite a lot of people walking around the lake but @suwen_newus managed to find the right timing to capture this shot. Kudos to you! Can't wait to share more, especially the solo ones of the kids. ❤

New look on the blog!
Okay, we haven't been out for an entire week, not even to the park. I really wanted to bring them to scoot or rollerblade but decided against it after hearing how it can get crowded and seeing the escalating number of cases in the past few days.
So, so thankful that we did our family photoshoot before the CB period kicked in and we are loving all our outdoor shots taken in Botanic Gardens by @bloomphotographysingapore. Here's one of my favourites and I think it tells just how much the kids have grown from our last photoshoot, which was done a year and a half ago.
Time flies, doesn't it?
That also means we are still feeling positive that life can return to normal soon. Life can get pretty chaotic at home but we are making the most of it and enjoying, as much as we can, the precious time we have together. That said, the kids and I can't wait to embrace the sunshine, breathe in the fresh air and run freely on the meadow again. But for now, we will do what we have to do - stay home and stay safe.
P.S. I will be sharing more photos in the next few weeks on this space so stay tuned. We were deciding between a studio or outdoor shoot and the kids voted for the latter because they wanted to be close to nature. I am soooo glad they did because I am loving all the shades of green and looking at these pictures gives me a renewed sense of hope too. Thanks to @suwen_newus and @bloomphotographysingapore for all the beautiful memories!

I've lived in Singapore for a little over 2 years but I haven't really explored Singapore's only world heritage site - Botanic Gardens. I have always been skeptical about this world heritage. I mean, it's just a garden. How can it be so amazing? So today, I asked my local friend Jimmy to show me around Botanic Gardens. Hopefully, by the end of today I get to appreciate the world heritage site more.
