The Philippines makes a move to protect data privacy on Facebook.
And why not?
Outside the United States, the Philippines had the largest amount of user data acquired by Cambridge Analytica (according to the National Privacy Commission).

"Everyone now wants to claim credit on Schooling's Olympic gold medal.
The Americans say he was trained there.
Malaysians say his mum is from Ipoh and he raced for Perak before.
British claim that his great grandfather was from Britain.
Portugal claims that his great grandmother was Portugal-Eurasian.
China claims that he is 1/2 Chinese.
But the best claim comes from the Philippines.
They say he was brought up by his Filipino maid."
(Let me just pipe in here and say I don't disagree with the Philippines, since he has claimed to be very close to Auntie Yolly.)
