因為 twitch 聊天室的 2 秒問題完全不見改善，找個 irc 軟體先用一用比較實際。之前我是用 hexchat，最近改用 chatty。偷偷借用 ptt live 版的教學。

Chatty的進階設定比較雜亂，這邊把一切比較常用的設定解釋一下。

在學會基本的連線操作之後，可以來調整一些設定值。這邊把設定值中幾個常
見的選項稍微翻譯一下並加上一些說明。設定值大多都在 Main → Settings 中：
打開Settings之後，真的很多東西可以設定...沒關係，挑幾個重要的就好。
更改所有設定請務必在最下方按Save(存檔)。
(1) Main 主要設定 (剛好參照上圖)
Chat Font (聊天室字型) 我偏好微軟正黑體。大小可調整。
如果很在意像是雖小臉之類的常見顏文字的話，推薦Arial Unicode MS，
或是參照FAQ的部分設定替代字型。
啟動的部分，我推薦 Connect and join favorited channel ，
連線並加入我的最愛中的頻道
其他有什麼想看的頻道就另外Join。
(2) Chat 聊天
Chat buffer size (聊天室緩衝區大小) 可以決定你能往上翻多少。
500通常夠用，不過如果你很想往上翻很多行可以設更大一些。
(3) Colors 顏色
自訂色彩，可以直接從下拉式選單選擇合適的，按Load Preset套用。
Default (預設，就像是Twitch聊天室的一般模式)
Dark (暗色調，有點像劇場模式)
Dark2 (另一種暗色調...其實我色弱分不清楚差別)
(4) Notifications 通知
如果嫌通知很煩，可以考慮把上面兩個都設定成off。
如果只是嫌Chatty自己的通知不好看，
取消勾選Use Chatty Notifications就會換回系統列的泡泡提示。
下面的Position(位置)、Screen(螢幕)可以設定通知出現的位置，
Display Time(顯示時間)可以更改通知持續出現的時間。
(5) Log to file 記錄到檔案
Channels to log to file 要記錄到檔案的頻道
這可以選擇要記錄哪些頻道的聊天室內容到檔案中。
因為檔案不大，我覺得一般情況都會想選Always(總是記錄)。
如果真的有哪些頻道不想記下來可以選擇Blacklist(黑名單)，
如果只有哪些頻道想要記錄下來可以選擇Whitelist(白名單)，
如果都不想記錄，可以選擇off。
下方的Folder可以選擇要記錄檔案存放的位置，
Timestamp可以選擇時間戳記的格式。
(6) Window 視窗
Default Userlist Width 預設使用者列表寬度
Min. Width 最小寬度 0.8.2版預設為0
如果你不想看到使用者列表，可以兩個都直接設定成0。
如果你大部分時間不想看到使用者列表，但是偶爾想拉開來看看，
可以只把Min. Width設定成0之後自己拉。
這個設定要重新啟動Chatty才會生效。
(7) Advanced 進階
這邊最重要的就是私人訊息(Whisper，密語)。
※20160503更新 Twitch聊天室系統搬遷到AWS後，
Chatty似乎比較正式的啟用了這個功能。
總之先勾選Whisper Enable(啟用密語)，
Display(顯示)的部分有三個選項: Active Chat (作用中聊天室)
One Window (集中在同一個視窗)
Per User (每個使用者分開)
Twitch現在已經將聊天室系統和密語系統都搬移到AWS系統上，
因此Chatty 0.8.2版已經不需要自行填入密語伺服器位址。
(8) Message 訊息
Chatty 0.8.4 beta 2開始支援Localized Name，
能夠分別設定中文暱稱和ID的顯示與否。
Localized+Original Name 中文暱稱(英文ID)
Only Original Name 只顯示英文ID
Only Localized Name 只顯示中文暱稱
