อีกไม่กี่วัน ตัวเกม Command & Conquer Remastered ก็จะออกวางจำหน่ายบนระบบ PC แล้ว และเชื่อว่าหลายคนก็คงอยากกลับไปสัมผัสประสบการณ์เกมวางแผนที่ชื่นชอบเหมือนในอดีต แต่ก็เชื่อว่าน่าจะมีผู้เล่นอีกหลายคนที่อยากจะเล่นเกมนี้ในรูปแบบใหม่ที่ต่อยอดไปมากกว่าเดิม ซึ่งผู้พัฒนาเกมเองก็มองเห็นในจุดและได้ปล่อย Source Code มาให้ได้ใช้งานกันแล้ว

ทาง EA ได้ปล่อยไฟล์ที่มีชื่อว่า TiberianDawn.dll และ RedAlert.dll ลงในเว็บไซต์ GitHub ซึ่งเป็นไฟล์ Source Code เวอร์ชั่น 3.0 ของเกมอย่างถูกต้อง เพื่อความสะดวกในการสร้าง Mod ที่มีความซับซ้อนมากกว่าปกติได้ รวมไปถึงการจัดการในส่วนของ Map Editor ที่ลงลึกในรายละเอียดมากขึ้นด้วย เรียกว่ามีแค่ไฟล์สองตัวนี้ก็สามารถสร้าง Mod น่าสนุกออกมาได้เต็มที่แน่นอน

แม้จะน่าเสียดายที่ตัวเกมเวอร์ชั่น Remastered นั้นไม่รองรับการเล่นผ่านระบบ Lan ในช่วงที่วางจำหน่ายตอนแรก แต่เชื่อว่าทางทีมงานหรือชาว Mod น่าจะมีการดัดแปลง Source Code ให้ใช้งานได้ในไม่ช้า และสำหรับใครที่อยากได้ตัว Source Code ,าลองดัดแปลงดู ก็สามารถเข้าไปดาวน์โหลดกันได้ที่นี่ครับ: https://github.com/electronicarts/CnC_Remastered_Collection/
