Vice President Samuel is a highly educated Hong Konger who has immigrated to the United States at an early age. He has held important positions in many well-known companies. He has been the president of Hong Kong Disney Company for 10 years. He shared that he was very happy there. The team has a consensus that tourists, children, parents and families will have the best day in Disney. This is their mission, but he slowly discovered that when people ended up playing Disney, their lives were still the same. After working for decades, he is thinking about how he can better combine faith and work, how he can help more people, and he wants to not only help others happy for a day, but to have more influence in the lives of others. 💞
After he learnt more about Mary Kay ’s career from our President KK Chua, he was intrigued & (while spending more time with the people) became deeply moved by Mary Kay ’s culture, mission, and found that Mary Kay ’s career is not only to bring happiness to people for a while, the MOST important thing is to change the #DESTINY of people and families.
He is touched by the change of a woman’s life.
He shared that a few days ago, they attended a meeting in Taiwan and invited a Malaysian 27-year-old elite executive to share her life story. She came from a single parent family. At first, her mother abandoned her and then her father abandoned her. She sought security through marriage. Married at the age of 18 and became a mother at tender age of twenty-one. She has 3 children. Her husband does 4 jobs. She has no money, no ability, no water and no electricity at home. There seemed no way out for her life. Later, she came to Mary Kay. She seized this opportunity and worked hard to increase her pay. Mary Kay not only gave her a generous income of 5 figure every month, but she forgave her father and mother who abandoned her. She bought them a house and forgive what they did to her.
She will be the youngest National Sales Director in Malaysia at only 28 years old.
Eventually when Sam came to Mary Kay to become our vice president and together with KK president to help more women's lives in the Asia Pacific region be enriched and inherite the great culture, so today we are doing something that are very meaningful and can last a lifetime & legacy. ❤️
