Behind every successful mandarin film is a..... Malay director?! That’s right, a few years ago I had the pleasure to work on 4Love 爱在小红点(2016), a romantic comedy directed by Raihan Halim. I had a fantastic time working with him on set, he showed me that with hardwork, you can overcome the any of the challenges that you face. Like making a movie in a language he doesn’t even understand! you don’t even speak.
Raihan is from Papahan films and has also directed many productions including Banting (2014).
