FONG SHAN？FENG SHAN？到底哪個是鳳山？
從2005年智傑擔任鳳山市長開始，就已發現國內在音譯上的拼音系統模式和規則上並無統一的標準，「漢語拼音」與「音譯拼音」交雜使用得同一個地方可能有不同的英文拼法，不但使市民們混亂，更是讓外國人搞不清楚該地方該怎麼唸！
智傑所關心的鳳山就是很標準的例子，區公所、捷運站翻譯的為FONG SHAN，而台鐵卻寫FENG SHAN，身為全台重要交通之一的鐵路系統在名稱上竟然與地方名稱不同，是非常需要檢討的地方！在質詢上智傑也特別向蘇貞昌院長與林佳龍部長反應，希望可以改正此問題，並統一全國拼音規則！

Any denial or indifference to the horror of this chapter in the history of humankind diminishes all men and women everywhere and invites repetition of this great evil. We remain committed to the post-Holocaust imperative, “Never Again.”’ We also recognize the brave men and women whose work and whose courage protected countless lives from Nazi atrocities. Among those heroes is Ho Feng Shan, known as the “Chinese Schindler.” Ho served as the Consul General in Vienna from 1938-1940. He himself issued visas to tens of thousands of Jews – in defiance of his superior’s orders – allowing them to escape Nazi-occupied Austria.
