FOSBY was born on 27th March 2018, he was a cute and active dog that caught our attention of brining him home. In fact this dog was not meant for sale, the owner wants to keep it for himself. After sometime of discussion, the owner was convinced to let us have FOSBY
while we were preparing to go home, we decided to bring him along to have a quick dinner nearby a mall, this is where we believed that he got infected with #pravovirus. That very night he did not show any signs or whatsoever, he was like a normal puppy throughout.
We are really grateful to have FOSBY as one of our family member, he brought us a lot of joy and laughter even just a short time of 1 week. He played everyday in the house, and eat like a boss and all his brother and sister was keeping away from him as he is too small.
During the 2nd week, he started to show signs of sickness and we decided to bring him to the vet hospital and right away after test, he was certified with #pravovirus it was really shocking to hear this, as we know this is a serious virus. The vet suggested us to admit him for proper care and medication. During this six days of hospitalization, honestly It broke our heart as there are so many needles poking almost everywhere of his leg.
For the first two days he was drowsy, however on the 3rd day he show signs of recovery and 4th day he was down again, these lasted for some days and finally yesterday the vet had said his sugar level was low, and white blood cells fall from 18,000 to 1,000 however they tried to give him medication to help increase his white blood cells. Hoping that the next day he will be better.
Today at 18:20 His heart stopped and this is where we know that he wants to rest for good, he fought the battle very hard each day, hoping that he could be discharged to be with his brother and sisters. Now he is heaven watching over us and run freely up there.
