這篇文章的原始報導看來是新聞報導，我找不到有正式發表。新聞之中，香港的醫師是說追蹤12個新冠出院的病人中有2~3個有20~30%的肺功能下降。影像上9個病人可以看到毛玻璃樣（就是病毒肺炎的影像表現還在），可能還有肺傷害。但長期的傷害，#比如說是否會造成肺纖維化，#還無法確認。出院病人可以做心肺復健運動比方說游泳，幫助改善他們的肺功能。

從嚴重的肺炎恢復，去測肺功能，當然有可能會有所降低。我想您應該也知道，就算是普通的細菌性肺炎ARDS後應該也不會這麼快恢復，這應該是出院後1~2個月內的追蹤。而他後續會怎麼變化，到底原因是什麼，是不是因為肺纖維化造成的，如果是的話，比例有多少？肺功能可否恢復？這是我們醫學界要去努力研究出來的。現在應該是還沒有這麼多證據。
我非常同意新冠不是流感。我認為他比較像全世界大流行的西班牙流感，只是他不會在年輕人也造成如西班牙流感這麼高的死亡率。
而對於現在某比例的台灣人已經根深蒂固的相信得了這個病就算不死肺也會纖維化留下一輩子後遺症的時候，我認為我們醫界不應該加重這種恐懼。纖維化當然可能有，但總要有個發生的機率讓大家有更精確的了解。
得到新冠很可能有一半是無症狀，輕症四成，你有快九成的機會連肺炎都不會有，更別說是後續的大片肺炎康復後造成的肺纖維化了。
而香港醫師告訴我們，從肺炎康復的病患中，12個中雖然影像上9個人可以看到毛玻璃樣，但只有2~3個有20~30%的肺功能下降，其他人沒這麼嚴重。這代表影像上的變化應該不是肺纖維化，即使是也不嚴重，不是嗎？
我們的防疫不應該建立在民眾對這個病不理性不符合科學的恐懼之上。
