When I was pregnant with you, I had this worry that I will not be able to love you as much as I love jiejie. I soon realised that my worry was frivolous because our hearts just grow bigger when we have more children! There will be enough love for everyone!
But it seems like a mom’s worry is never-ending because I became constantly guilty for not giving you enough attention especially when Jiejie is around. Even though we say you are little and may still be oblivious to surroundings and that we should try to offer more attention to the older child with stronger emotions, it is easier said than done.
There are nights where I am preparing Jiejie for bed but I couldn’t concentrate at our bedtime stories because I can hear your cries. Sometimes you fall asleep really quickly, but at times, even after a storybook, you are still crying. That usually means Tita probably can’t put you to bed that night. I’m feel so sorry that you had to cry a little longer because I needed to explain to Jiejie. I feel heartened that you will fall asleep in my arms almost instantaneously. Thank you for waiting for Mommy.
This little piggy is 8.5kg and 66.5cm tall, hitting the charts well at 75 percentile for weight and head circumference but below average for height. Learnt how to sit and crawl and getting better at sit to crawl. Loves crawling and doing it so much more and fast these few weeks! I love those toothy grins; 2 cute bottom teeth have budded more this month. For the past month, we have introduced 12 different food and observed that he prefers to self-feed then to be fed so we will try do more BLW! 2 solids a day from this month onwards YAY!
