Thank you for all your #heartfelt and encouraging messages and well wishes to me, they mean a lot. Really #appreciate the effort many of you have taken to pen and share your thoughts with me over the past couple of weeks, it is certainly #heartwarming to have received a personal response from you and for me to know that I've managed to reach someone out there.

Just so you know, I'm doing fine and all is well over on my side, so I hope it's the same on yours. I'm fortunate and #blessed to have been surrounded by your embrace, and I wish to continue with this good #luck and #favour, while also making some for myself over the years. Let's have a bigger heart, have kind and sincere thoughts for others, keep doing better in what we do, and be the best we can be in our own lives.

Honestly, I was very #surprised to see a few sides of myself which I didn't know, haven't seen before, or didn't expect myself to be. I'm surprised by how I am in front of the camera, how I carried myself, how I reacted (or didn't react) to external stimuli and judgement, how still and calm I could be (if I could say so about myself). It was a nuancedness and subtlety which I never imagined myself to bring on screen, though I probably felt I always had it somewhere in there.

I feel like I've probably #outgrown a lot of these notions and judgements, preconceived or not, true or not, fair or not, and also a fair bit of white noise and non-sense. Because if some people are adamant on making a standstill and pinning you back in time, I can't stay there forever with you and we all have to move on. Yes, I do feel like a slightly different person, and artiste now; and perhaps, less is more, and no need to keep trying and proving, just #being.

I used to feel apologetic if it was all about me, but there are times you have to cut yourself some slack and give yourself some credit if it's due. We keep learning to deal with people; and if you can't deal with people, you learn to deal with yourself. I'll keep doing better, but for now this will do. Renewed vigour, new found passion, and a lot more ease and happiness.
