พาทุกคนมาที่บ้าน Terrazzo House ครับ
ภายนอกเราเห็นบ้านโมเดิร์นทรงเหลี่ยมทึบตัน โดดเด่นด้วย facade ด้านหน้าที่เป็นกระเบื้องหินขัด แต่เมื่อเดินเข้าไปภายในเรากลับพบว่ามีบ้านเก่าอีกหนึ่งหลังที่ยังคงอยู่...
บ้านหลังนี้มีเรื่องราวน่าสนใจตั้งแต่สถานที่ตั้งซึ่งอยู่ร่วมกับบ้านอีกหลายหลังในรั้วเดียวกัน
งานรีโนเวทของบ้านนี้ มีทั้งการคงบ้านหลังเดิมเอาไว้ การเพิ่มส่วนต่อขยายด้านหน้าเข้ามาและสร้างความเชื่อมโยงกันระหว่างเก่า-ใหม่ ให้เกิดเป็นบ้านที่ลงตัว
เป็นบ้านที่คงเรื่องราวอดีตไว้ - เข้าใจความต้องการใช้งานในปัจจุบัน - พร้อมรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงในอนาคต
หลังจากได้พูดคุยกับสถาปนิก เราจะเห็นว่าเรื่องของเวลา อดีต ปัจจุบัน และอนาคต ถือเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่ต้องคำนึงถึงให้มากเวลาจะทำการรีโนเวทบ้านสักหลัง และบ้านหลังนี้ก็ถือว่าทำออกมาได้น่าสนใจทีเดียวครับ
