來不及等到聖誕節過去，倫敦週三又將迎來下一波 tier 3 等級的Lockdown，公共場合即將再次關閉，電影院當然也不例外。
慶幸在這一小段解封的時期有到戲院看幾場電影，謝謝倫敦東亞電影節依然實體登場，今年選了來自中國、南韓、日本、香港和台灣的電影，這次也看了絕大多數的片，發現我們確實能從電影當中看見一個地方的影子。他們在意什麼，糾結什麼，有更多是普世性，但又可以在其中描摹出獨特的社會樣貌。
閉幕典禮那天見證台灣電影《怪胎》榮膺大獎，坐在台下也感到很是光榮，影展能舉辦已然魔幻，這或許是魔幻中更魔幻的時刻。
楊凡導演說，看電影是 escape from reality，我覺得看電影也是 dream in the reality ，和一群人一起做夢，只有在這個黑盒子裡能夠發生。

Feeling grateful for the opportunity to participate in a film festival at the moment when there’re countless people devoting their time and efforts behind the scene.
It’s always great to be back in cinema. Only when you watch a film in cinema will you feel the magic of the big screen and the atmosphere which cannot be replaced with any other platforms.
Watching film is for an escape from reality, said by director Yon Fan. I would say that it is like dreaming in the reality as well. Dreaming with a bunch of people, that's what film offers to us.
