At this point in my life I’ve learned some crucial lessons about emotional and mental growth and its taken alot of experiences both negative and positive to have that realization. ❤️Incase it comes in handy for anyone out there....Im Sharing my Top 3 for today:

1. Allow yourself to have feelings that are ‘bad/crap/horrible/nasty/difficult” because if you dont acknowledge them they will grow and dominate you even more. FEEL those yucky feelings, acknowledge them and THEN move on. Dont buy into the whole ‘dont feel sorry for yourself/bad/negative’ trend. Thats what i call the Tyranny of POSITIVITY. No human is able to ‘suppress’ any feelings. Its part of living. Just allow yourself to Feel in full. Then choose what to do to change the situation.
2. When you feel hurt/offended by someone- its NOT necessarily a BAD thing. Its an Opportunity to GROW and ask yourself what triggered you to feel discomfort about that person/those words. Yes there are rude people/nasty people/all types BUT its how we Interpret what they say and do that actually affects us. We can also just choose to accept it is what it is and with that- Change our interaction with that person. Lessen the time/exposure OR at least Know that everyone says and does hurtful things from a place of THEIR own pain.
3. Social media reinforces low self esteem because humans love to compare. The problem is it sets standards that are superficial and we will Never know the truth behind those pictures and smiles. Every human has their own pain and suffering- hidden behind the Filters. There are also people who use social media to ‘Show’ they have a high self esteem. Theres no such thing as constantly needing to ‘Show’ how good you feel to others/what you have unless you are actually just trying to make yourself feel better. So dont believe the hype- seriously. The the More the Layers of needing to show off clothes makeup money and status the Deeper someone is trying to hide or bury their pain. ❤️
