【The beginning of an extraordinary journey】
Four months ago, I was an ordinary girl waiting for an extraordinary journey. It was my dream to study abroad, to see how the world is, to learn more than I currently know. I found the opportunity with NTPU, and I am grateful for the chance they gave me. I never thought my dream came true. I do not know how to describe my feeling when I saw the acceptance letter from IPUG. I was astounded with teary-eyes while smiling at the same time. How lucky I am to be chosen as one of the IPUG students in NTPU. When I arrive on the campus, I was impressed with its beautiful landscape and scenery. It gave me a warm feeling, just like back at home. Ah, now I know how it feels, falling in love at first sight. Some people would say that my arrival came at a bad timing due to the pandemic, but even though, I believe I came to the right place.
I am certain that I would not regret this decision I have made. I was excited at first, and I am still getting more excited every day. I am always looking forward to another piece of the puzzle that would become part of my NTPU story.
Right now, my story includes joy, challenges, fear, learnings, and most of all, being away from my family and try to become an independent person. I know I have to make adjustments being a Muslim living in a non-Muslim country. It would be tough and challenging. I have to pray 5 times a day, perform fasting, and do other Islamic practices. What a surprise, NTPU has a Muslim prayer room. Even during my class, the professor will give me time to pray, all people respect me and my religion so well. Opposite to what I have initially expected, everything is going well and easy. My friends are so friendly and respectful. I was touched when my friend reminded me to do my daily prayer, they also looked for the halal food to make sure I will be able to eat the food and snacks. How amazing and kind they are. I will treasure this wonderful experience from IPUG and NTPU. Hope two years will not go so fast, I want to enjoy every second of my journey on this lovely campus. Thanks, IPUG and NTPU 💕

most beautiful girl country 在 Cara G McIlroy Facebook 的最佳解答
Since I can remember people have asked me where I’m from or what my nationality or heritage is. When I was a little girl this was very confusing for me as I was raised by my Father and Grandmother who were white and we lived in very small country towns where there were no people of any ethnicity other than white Australian. At least in those days there weren’t. I would always say I’m Australian but with hesitation almost like I was less deserving of this title because I looked different.
There would always be a following question along the lines of “but you don’t look Australian or where are your parents from?” I was bullied and teased most my young childhood because my skin was a different colour and my features were different from those around me. I didn’t mind much then, my family were loving and kind and I surrounded my self with nature and animals, that made me feel safe but from a young age I felt a feeling of not belonging and confusion about my identity. As I moved coastal in my teens away from small towns and closer to my Mother things became easier. When I came to Asia to model I seemed to fit into the box of “Asian” or “Eurasian” but only if I stayed out of the sun. So if I’m not Asian or only Asian when I’m not tan but I’m not Australian because I’m brown what exactly am I?
Throw in the mixed religious beliefs I was raised amongst my Dad being Christian and Mum being Muslim. That brings me to today where finally in my 30’s I’m confident and proud about my heritage. I’m no longer scared about being judged. A small part of that I can probably thank my career for but largely it’s my children. Each one of them is so beautifully divine and different but each one pumps the same blood through their heart. I must teach them no matter their different colours of skin, hair and eyes they are all beautiful. What matters is how they see the world and and how the respect others. So when they ask me what nationality they are I will tell them warmly you are earthlings.

I don’t know why I read the history before, but I believe that it ’s not just me. Later, I knew my husband and started walking in the tribe. It seems that I can understand why many people keep their culture and learn more about history. go.
.
When I was working abroad on vacation, I was asked by locals where I came from? What are the characteristics over there? There is even a question in English class: Please describe your hometown?
Of course, abroad, I told us that we are an island country. People are enthusiastic, the scenery is beautiful, and the food is delicious! But knowing that this is a superficial degree, if you continue to talk deeply, you will find that you do not know about the land of Taiwan ...
.
Who am I and where am I from? To be honest, I haven't thought of such a problem before, as if it were a fairy tale that will be hidden in history textbooks, and I read and read historical records from China, and now I ’m walking and watching. The stories and history that actually happened in Taiwan ’s land , But has not been solidly recorded in the textbook, which is quite interesting, but on the other hand, it is a pity ...
.
What we are chasing is not the history of white paper and black words. We are chasing only the peace and mutual respect. We are also slowly learning what is true respect. We try to "understand" before respecting. In conclusion or assistance, I think this is what people are The most comfortable way to get along.
.
Hi! Hello everyone, I am the girl who walking around the island. " RuRu of Circling Taiwan" . I used to walk on the ru with no money and work for food and lodging. Thank you friends and family for your encouragement and comfort. We will continue to warm Thank you for your hard work 😇 love you all 😊

A quick time-lapse of how I do my own henna! I have no formal training and just draw from ideas and memory, and the tip of the henna tube I used is quite thick, so it's not my best work, but it was fun indeed! I used to live in Pakistan, so despite me not being able to do henna like a local, trying henna brings up fond memories of that beautiful country. Pakistan Zindabad!

Day 6 in India and seeing the beautiful Taj Mahal from a rare view not many people see.

The Taj Mahal, also known as the pearl of India and probably the most iconic monument in the country was the first stop on our bucket list when we arrived in Agra.
I was so excited to get the chance to visit this legendary site as I'd researched so much about the Taj Mahal for a previous project of mine a few years back. It was quite surreal to be able to see it in real life as it's definitely been on my bucket list for a while.

The morning starts super early, in the middle of the highway from Varanasi to Agra. We stopped by the side of the highway for a quick breakfast of pretty much just cay, Indian tea.
The journey between cities was 14 hours and there were 14 of us cramped into one travel van... people, bags, gear and production equipment all sardined into one very confined space. Not the most comfortable of journeys but the company made up for it by being extra fun and keeping the journey very interesting.
We finally arrive in Agra and freshen up which felt like a slice of heaven after being smothered up together. We also were in dire need of food so some of the team and I went to eat. Arif was not well at all with a fever and an upset stomach. and Bella was down with the flu while also dealing with her cow accident from the day before.
So with half the team down, the rest of us went to find food... KFC!
I. Was. Not. Happy. About this AT ALL.
But I was out numbered so I didn't have much of a choice. Didn't vlog the experience because... NO. hehe. #FitnessLife
But I won't lie. I did feeling much much better with food in my stomach.
I was also very excited for what was coming next!
A visit to the Taj Mahal.
Hidayat knows India very well, so he promised to take us to see a view of the Taj Mahal not everyone gets to experience.
Again, most of the team was too tired to come out with us so Syahid, Hidayat and I went together. We met up with the rest of the guys when we got there as well, so it was a pretty decent group of us.
Hidayat definitely delivered on the view. We saw the Taj from the back, from the banks of the Yamuna River. The river was pretty dirty... well... actually, it was absolutely drowning in rubbish. Quite a pity because the view was stunning. But still, it didn't take away from the magnificence of the Taj Mahal.
After an hour or two long photo session, we went to get some ice-creams. A great way to end a day of very healthy eating. lol.
Once I got back to the hotel, I ended the vlog.
Needed an early night. The next day, we spent more time exploring Agra.

==
==

【Purpose of The Video】
Say thank you to v to let me be able to travel abroad when I was a student. And encourage more people to take on a trip to see this world.
【Introduction】
I know many people will think I make this video because it is sponsored by AirAsia (I wish it was :P).
It is understandable. But, the fact is, it is not. This video is not sponsored by anyone at all.
I just came up with this idea while Shen and I am taking AirAsia x to Malaysia. We were talking about how much and how often we fly with AirAsia to travel to places, and people from different places we met, interesting things that happened on each of our trips. We just feel thankful that we were born in this time.
Nowadays, most of us got chance to travel, to know the world that we use to mistaken, and to know the value of ourselves and of everyone else.
The world is too big to stay in one pace.

I love traveling. The first flight ticket I bought with the money I made from part time is AirAsia x ticket. That time I went to Thailand.
At school, I just simply went online and found AirAsia’s promotion tickets that I could afford. And then I use their online booing to buy the very first flight ticket in my life!
==
With AirAsia & AirAsia x, I have traveled to Thailand, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Malacca, Sabah, Tioman island) , Hong Kong, Singapore, for the reason it’s just cheaper than other airlines but also 3 other reasons!
0:30 ☆Reason1☆ Beautiful flight attendants
Of course I also have taken other airlines. Usually flight attendants from other airlines are in a more formal style. (sometimes makes me feel a little distanced )
But the flight attendants from AirAsia & AirAsia x are just different!!
For example, they don’t need to put up their hair.
And I feel it’s a more friendly style. (my personal opinions lah)
Even I am a girl, I think AirAsia flights are so attractive, sexy, and beautiful~
0:58 ☆Reason 2☆ Yummy meals on board
Out of all meals on board form different airlines,
The one from AirAsia satisfies me the most!
Maybe I just personally like Malaysian food so much :P
The food on menu really varies, and it is very authentic.
Plus, its just inexpensive.
It’s averagely 8 dollars, and as price of on board meals, I think it’s very acceptable.
I always order online before I fly if I fly with AirAsia or AirAsia x
I’m just such a foodie.
And 3 hours later, I must order a Malaysian cup noodles :P yum
1:31 ☆Reason 3☆ AirAsia is made in Malaysia!
Malaysia is one of my favorite countries.
My best friend, Shen is Malaysian, and that’s why I started to know about Malaysia. So far I have been to Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Malacca, Sabah, Tioman island, and I just really like this place. Love the people, the food, the multiple cultures and religions, and the beachesss.
I love the beach.
Malaysia is one country that has the most beautiful beaches.
I definitely will visit Malaysia again. To meet more people with great souls, see more amazing places, and lay down on more beautiful beaches.
Last, hope you enjoy this video ;)
