Yesterday Morning, first road race of year 2020. Took part in @selangormarathon for the 10km Men Open category.
Before the race, I have set myself a goal to clock a sub 34 min.
Took an 🍊 and some other fruits as well plus took @beetitsportmy double shots in the morning 2 hours before the event. Took @actiginofficial as well to ensure my glycogen replenish in a much faster way. Woke up pretty early to also have a small meal (cereals + soy milk).
What so special about the race yesterday is that I ran without a GPS watch. I ran based on my feeling. I am glad to be in the zone for quite a long time, like turning on the autopilot mode, crusing at about 90-95% effort. Cruise until the last 3k, autopilot mode switch off and I told myself time to accelerate and pick up the pace.

I am glad to run a sub 34 - 10km race without much key running workouts as my current training program are mostly focus in Towerrunning Sport.
I am looking forward on a 10k run next month in London and aiming for a good time. A sub 33 - 10k will be my goal. Current 10k PR at 2017 Taipei Sundown - 33:20 minutes. A night run and cold weather (10 - 12 deg), at the park.
And I am happy to be back on road race sometimes to meet so many runners here and gave you all the support at the finishing line. Thanks for the cheer throughout the race!
