對復古情懷的好萊塢場景總是特別著迷，雖然全劇輕巧樂觀地和現實背道而馳，但至少沒有掩蓋檯面下應有盡有的dirty pretty things⋯更重要的是，假想當年如果種族問題、女性和同志的處境，可以早點被改變並能勇敢發聲該有多好呢！於是影集《好萊塢》為我們編織的美夢，我既喜歡也能接受，畢竟戲劇就該具有填補現實缺憾的魔力，期許有一天，當一切不再只是夢境，面對自己能夠更加踏實堅定。
本劇不論主配角、老將新秀演出都很亮，更不乏許多知名演員來客串助陣，然後本劇主打男體，意者請入內浸淫。
