I consider myself very lucky when it comes to my journey during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. I’ve learned more about my body and what it can do and I am just blown away by how amazing a female body is with adapting and healing. (Photo 1) Just after 2 weeks of delivering my beautiful boy, breastfeeding alone helped my stomach shrink back to almost normal. (Photo 2) Then at 1 month postpartum, after doing some belly binding with @restoringmums I could see my belly firming up. (Photo 3) And now, after slowly getting back into exercising, first with some pilates to regain awareness in my inner core, then dancing to get some cardio and feel good, and of course, getting back into my yoga practice. I’m content with my body even if it looks slightly different from pre pregnancy. The most important thing is to feel good in my own skin, be healthy, and to love my little boy. 💕💕💕

收到好多人的DM都問我懷孕為什麼手臂還這麼細,其實也不是很細,就結實吧!
最近愛睡午覺的我所以延遲了拍影片。😂
懷孕的第4個月後開始加強運動,運動是對寶寶的發育也好。
這組的手臂運動很簡單,只要兩塊瑜伽磚或一些有重量的書在家都可以練習了。
沒懷孕的人也可以練喔!
記得手臂和手掌要伸直,才可以練到大臂內側的肌肉喔(傳說中的拜拜肉)。

Sorry for the delay, I had to skip my mid afternoon nap to film it 🙊
It’s good for toning the arms without being too strenuous and anyone can do it.
All you need is 2 yoga blocks. If you don’t have those you can use books or bottles that weigh around 1kg.
Tip. If you’re using blocks, place them flat on your palm instead of holding them with your hands and send them out with flat straight arms.

As I inch closer to my due date, my back is starting to ache from #babyWooLaLa exponential weight gain. I'm starting to get water retention in my legs and feet. I'm constantly feeling hot and sweaty, severely dehydrated even with 3l of water intake everyday. My hair is limp and weak (that luscious hair during pregnancy thing DID NOT AT ALL happen for me). I feel tired, but can't maintain my sleep well at night.
Exercise really helps me feel better! I missed swimming the whole of last week and was feeling uncomfortable all over. Today's swim is such a treat! So glad i manage to do my usual 10 laps before it started to pour! On top of swimming, I've now also included once a week pilates session with @thebettermovement and trekking. I recently rediscovered the beauty of Botanic Gardens, so will likely take my mom for a trek sometime this week!
#34 weeks into the pregnancy already! So proud that i manage to stay active the whole time. I'm sure all of this will help with my c-sect postnatal recovery!
