筋骨損傷要補肝腎
中國人飲食有「以形補形」的觀念,故以為凡筋骨損傷,多喝雞腳湯、豬骨湯或鹿筋湯等會有幫助,但這只對慢性勞損能稍作紓緩,如屬急性創傷,以穴位按摩、推拿、針灸、拔罐配合中藥更為見效。而到了休養期,食療宜補肝腎、強筋骨,因中醫理論認為「肝主筋、脾主肌肉、腎主骨」,適量飲用有補益肝腎作用的湯水有助創傷癒合,桑寄生、黑豆、栗子、核桃、花生等食材都有補肝腎的功效。然而有損傷宜先諮詢註冊中醫師,找出致傷原因,選取最合適的治療方案。
食材小貼士:
杜仲性溫,有補肝腎、強筋骨,並有安胎作用。
蓮藕杜仲黨參湯
功效:補肝腎,紓緩腰膝痠軟、容易疲倦等症狀。
材料:蓮藕1根(約3節)、杜仲15克、黨參15克、黑豆30克、栗子80克、核桃20克、蜜棗2枚
做法:
1. 所有材料洗淨,蓮藕去皮切塊;栗子去皮取肉備用。
2. 鍋中加入2500毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調文火煮1.5小時,最後下鹽調味即可。

Replenish the liver and kidneys when the bones and joints are damaged
The Chinese cuisine philosophy believes that we should consume chicken feet soup, pork bone soup, or deer tendon soup when we sustain injuries on our bones and joints. These soups could in fact help relieve mild injuries.
But to deal with more severe injuries, we should rely on acupuncture, massage of the acupoints, tuina (Chinese therapeutic massage), cupping therapy, and Chinese medicine. During the recovery period, we should consume foods that can replenish the liver and kidney and strengthen the bones and joints. This is because Chinese Medicine believes that ‘the liver governs the joints, the spleen governs the muscles, and the kidney governs the bones’.
Consuming soups that can nourish the liver and kidney can expedite the recovery. Ingredients such as mulberry mistletoe stem, black bean, chestnut, walnut, and peanut can nourish these two internal organs. Do consult registered and licensed Chinese physicians and find out the cause of the damage so that they can customize a suitable treatment for the patients.
Tips on ingredient:
Eucommia bark is warm in nature; can nourish the liver and kidney, strengthen the bones and joints, and stabilize pregnancy.
Lotus root and Eucommia bark soup with Codonopsis root
Effects: Nourishes the liver and kidneys. Relieves weak knees and lower back, and frequent fatigue.
Ingredients: 1 lotus root (about 3 knots), 15g eucommia bark, 15g codonopsis root, 30g black bean, 80g chestnut, 20g walnut, 2 candied dates
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Cut the peeled lotus root into pieces. Peel the chestnuts.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2500ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1.5 hours. Add salt to taste.

現在我們有了可愛的新寶寶,可以讓我們疼愛他親親他,會很容易 (尤其是我們在看手機裡幾千張寶寶的照片時) 忘記我們身體還是有很多狀況,雖然我們把鬆鬆的肉塞進去褲子裡之後,看起來都恢復了,但是,還是有好長的恢復的路要走。
So, now we have this adorable new baby to adore and love and smoother with our kisses.
It’s easy (when we’re looking through our thousands of baby photos) to forget that while we may “look” like we’ve pretty much recovered, (after we tuck our flapping belly skin into our pants) we are far from it.
有一半的媽媽生完小孩後,背會從有一點點痛到很痛很痛。50趴耶!
Apparently 50% of women suffer from back pain after delivering their baby. 50%!!
我們的子宮在懷孕時會擴張,腹部會分離,脊椎會被往下並往後拉緊。
Our uterus expands during pregnancy and our abs are separated which pulls the lower spine forward, straining out back.
還有,抱嬰兒、撿玩具、換尿布和不良的姿勢也沒辦法幫助我們減緩背部的疼痛。
Also, carrying the baby, picking up toys, changing diapers, and bad posture also doesn’t help with the achy back.
還記得那些在我們體內高漲的’’有趣’’荷爾蒙嗎?它幫助我們放鬆韌帶和關節,以便我們可以將嬰兒從“下面”推出來....是的,不幸的是,賀爾蒙仍然讓我們的關節保持鬆動、搖晃。
Remember all those fun hormones surging through our body to help us loosen up the ligaments and joints so that we can push out a baby from “down there”?.... Yeah, those are unfortunately, still keeping our joints loose and, jiggly?
我們的荷爾蒙大概需要6個月才會恢復’’正常’’,但是在那之前,有幾件事可以幫忙:
Things will hopefully get better and back to “normal” around 6 months, but here are a few things which can help in the meantime:
-老公按摩:如果沒有老公的話老婆也可以,男朋友、女朋友、同事、專業人士、椅子、滾筒都可以,按摩按摩按摩,太爽了!你的肌肉會感謝你。
Husband massages. If husbands aren’t available. Wife massages. Boyfriend massages. Girlfriend massages. Colleague massages. Massage massages. Chair massages. Roller massages. Massages. Just massages. Oh they feel so darn good.
-動一動:走路、游泳、跳舞、伸展,然後繼續走,就是走走走。現在疫情比較不方便出去,在家裡也可以動一動喔!我知道現在你最不想要做的可能就是運動,但是我保證,小小的動一動真的會讓你比較舒服一些。
Move it, move it. Walk. swim. Dance. Stretch. Walk. Walk some more. Just move a bit. Even at home you can do it! I know that’s probably the last thing you want to do when you’re feeling sore and in pain, but moving around helps.
-休息:我知道,哪來的時間休息!而且,我剛剛不是才說要動嗎?這兩個都要啦!
Rest if you can. I know. I know. When is there time?! And isn’t that contrary to what I just said above?! Well, you gotta make time for both. Moving. And resting.
-可以拿那些懷孕時用的枕頭來幫忙。如果側睡的話,枕頭放在腿中間,對齊臀部,蠻舒服的!
Use a body pillow or pillow in between your legs when you sleep. It helps align the hips and just feels good.
-最重要的就是要好好用對的姿勢來抱寶寶,這個真的很重要。不管我們是在親餵、瓶餵、抱抱、搖寶寶、安慰寶寶、換尿布、彎腰等,我們都是在使用我們的背部。防止進一步受傷的方法,就是確保你用正確的姿勢並且使用正確的肌肉來完成上面講的所有動作。
And probably most importantly, hold your baby properly. This is key. We’re either breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, holding, cuddling, rocking, soothing, changing diapers, bending over, leaning, and overall just straining our back muscles. A way to prevent further injury is to make sure you have the correct posture and are using the correct muscles to do all of the above.
這些只是幾個簡單的小撇步可以幫助我們減輕一些疼痛,媽咪們,辛苦了!

預防妊娠紋有法
常說「妊娠紋是幸福的印記」,因為妊娠紋是懷孕期出現的皮膚組織疤痕,懷孕時腹部快速撐大,皮膚的彈性纖維與結締組織被撐破而出現,多見於腹部、臀部、大腿內側等位置,出現初期呈暗紅色,然後漸變成銀白色,疤痕位置略為凹陷。
雖然妊娠紋是孕婦獨有的印記,卻並非所有孕婦都會出現,出現與否與遺傳、個人體質、孕期體重增加程度有關,想預防妊娠紋宜從懷孕前開始準備,進行適量的運動,進食富含蛋白質的食物以增加皮膚彈性;懷孕時保持均衡飲食,控制體重增長;定時在容易出現妊娠紋的位置塗抹成份天然的滋潤乳液或按摩油,配合按摩強化肌膚彈性。到了懷孕後期使用托腹帶,承擔腹部的重力負擔,減少皮膚過度延展拉扯。
妊娠紋一旦形成很難完全消除,但勤力塗抹乳液及按摩有助淡化疤痕,產後可嘗試用椰子油每天按摩,有需要的話可諮詢中醫師進行針灸、穴位按摩及中藥改善症狀。

An effective way to prevent stretch marks
Some say stretch marks are signs of happiness because they develop during pregnancy. During this period, the tummy expands rapidly and tears its elastic fibers and connective tissues, causing scars to develop around the tummy, hips, or inner thighs. The scars would first appear dark red in color and soon become silvery white. Stretch marks are the indented streaks found in the body parts mentioned earlier.
Though only pregnant women will develop stretch marks, not everyone would go through this as it all depends on the genetics, the body constitution, and the person’s weight during pregnancy. In order to prevent stretch marks, we have to start preparing ourselves before the pregnancy. Start by exercising regularly and consume foods that are rich in protein to increase the skin’s elasticity.
Continue to maintain a healthy diet and control weight appropriately while pregnant. Apply moisturizers or essential oils that are made from natural ingredients on body parts where stretch marks might develop, and massage them to strengthen the elasticity of the skin. Use abdominal binder in the last trimester to support the weight of the tummy to prevent skin from stretching excessively.
Stretch marks – difficult to get rid of once they form, but consistent application of moisturizer and massage can minimize scarring. Do massage the body with coconut oil on a daily basis after giving birth. If need be, consult registered and licensed Chinese physicians. We can improve the condition by going through acupuncture, acupoint massage, and Chinese Medicine treatment.
