When Mrs Mom called Dr Auntie to tell her how Fatimah sacrificed her cake for Ali, they both ended up crying together! So, Dr Auntie decided to surprise Fatimah with a cake especially for her! As expected, Fatimah, being her typical self, burst into tears when she saw the cake. She was really touched by the surprise coz she didn’t expect it at all. But guess what Fatimah said? “This is not just my cake, but Ali’s cake too!” She truly is a #princesswithaBIGheart - bless her! 💖

#throwback March 2018

This is Fatimah and Ali’s normal routine after their bath time in the evening. Ali will sit down and ask Fatimah to brush his hair. Ali always wants to be pampered and loves all the attention from Fatimah. And Fatimah will always brush Ali’s hair first, then only will she brush her own hair. No matter what, she always puts her lil’ brother as her first priority!

Dear Ali,
Always remember how much love your elder sister, Fatimah has showered upon you. From the day you were born, she has always cared for you even though she was only 1 and a half years old at the time.

Dear Fatimah,
Thank you for being such a mature and responsible big sister to your brother, Ali. Your love for him is priceless. You’re truly a #PrincesswithaBigHeart 💖

Dear God,
Please protect the hearts of our children and make them love one another till their last breath. And may the love that they have for one another unite them again in the highest place of Your Heaven.

Part 1️⃣ of 2️⃣ #LollipopStory 🍭

It was one of Fatimah’s friends’ birthdays at school today, so the birthday girl brought in a cake to celebrate and lollipops for each of her classmates. Fatimah asked her friend the birthday girl, “Can I trade in my cake for another lollipop?” Her friend said, “What about the lollipop that you already have in your hand?” and guess what Fatimah replied? “This one is for my little brother, Ali!”

So she came home with a proud smile on her face, shouting “SURPRISE!” I wish you could have seen Fatimah’s glowing face when she gave Ali one of her lollipops...you can tell how happy she was! I was shocked when I heard that she traded her cake for another lollipop. And what’s even more shocking is that she traded the cake for another lollipop for herself, because the first lollipop that she got, she considered it Ali’s from the very beginning, not hers!

I hugged her and cried, and she told me, “Don’t be sad, Mummy! It’s OK, I don’t need the cake.” That made me cry even harder! Still in tears, I told her, “I could buy you a thousand cakes for what you have sacrificed for your little brother, Ali! If I could reach the stars in the sky, I would pick them all out especially for you, my princess with a big heart!”

There they were, sitting down, laughing and enjoying their lollipops. My eyes were still wet with tears. Yes, I was emotional, but above all, I felt content, knowing that they have so much love for each other. That moment I couldn’t help but feel proud of my children. I may not be perfect, but when I look at them I know that I got something in my life perfectly right - Alhamdulillah! My only hope and prayer would be for all three of them to continue loving one another until their last breath...
