In May 2016, @__bryanl & I packed our bags
& journeyed almost 6,000 km to a cute little town
called Rishikesh, north of India,
for a month of training with a notable #yogi.
As part of the perquisites in obtaining a
licence to teach & use #yoga for rehabilitation,
we had to complete several courses
in anatomy, alignment, philosophy,
and principles of teaching,
apart from the actual yoga asanas.
We also learnt that
the foundation of 𝘢𝘭𝘭 yoga poses
(not one, but 𝘢𝘭𝘭)
lie in the correct foundation of
1 very important pose:
𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐞 (#Tadasana).
Effectively, the blueprint of all #yogaasanas.

If you’ve never done yoga before,
welcome to your first class. :-)
What I’m about to share with you today
is something you can put into practise
𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘺 & 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 you 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝.
In the shower, when you brush your teeth,
on an escalator, while waiting in line, etc.
Not everyone can do fancy yoga poses,
but most of us can 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝.
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲
(Core, inner thighs, glutes, shoulders, etc)
𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝.
That’s when fat burning mode gets activated.
Never overlook the fact that 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞
𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨.

This is especially great for those with
lower back pains, or if you’re pregnant,
#stand/workout a lot, etc.
Basically, for everyone.
Even in your yoga practice or
in other exercises like a plank,
go ahead & reference this as a base alignment
to get the most out of your #workout.
More tomorrow.
For now, have fun experimenting!
Love you #OnlineFamily!❤️

* Preparing for the ACE-CPT exam and train for the Spartan.
* Reduce my horrible body fat.
(Start from about 22-24%)
* Providing the quotes motivated you and me everyday.
* Absorbing extra knowledge may improve myself.
* Do the rehabilitation three times per week.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
85. Success has always been accumulated by failure.
86. 堅持下去,會獲得所有;一旦放棄,什麼都沒有!
87. Being comfortable through uncomfortable.
88. 想要成就不凡,先得不厭其煩!
89. 99% Means nothing.
90. The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.
Believe in what's your believe!
Any milestone is a temporary stop, but would not be the end at all.
Growing up need to be accumulated by experience.
Success have been consist of two parts :change & insistence
Initial motivation gives us the most powerful strength.
Difficulty makes different.
Becoming us own self.
