I filmed this when I was close to 9 months pregnant. 3 exercises using resistance band to strengthen the shoulders. Well, I attempted to perform the 4th exercise, but the resistance was too strong for me to work on my rear delt (back part of the shoulders - a small muscle), but it's ok, it was safe to try. And that's one of the beauties of working with resistance bands - it's generally safer than other form of free weights (yet provides a good form of resistance to improve strength). This is one of the reasons why for my Pregnancy Program, the proposed exercises are either using body weight or resistance bands.

I'm an IFBB Pro Men's Physique athlete. I started training 15 years ago and began competing at a professional level from 2013. Since then I've competed in over 14 bodybuilding competitions worldwide from U.S.A. to Japan, China, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
Some of my highlights include holding the title as a 7x World Physique Champion under the Muslemania Universe and Musclemania America as well as being the 1st Runner Up at the IFBB Japan Pro 2018.

QUICK TIPS
- All machines have diagrams stating the major and minor muscles being worked on.
- The first thing to look out for is the adjustment levers, which usually are bright coloured so that they stand out.
- How heavy should you lift? The weights should be heavy enough to fatigue your muscles within 8 – 15 repetitions, but not too heavy that you struggle to complete a full range of motion.
- If you are new to the movements, you can always start slightly lighter and slowly increase the weight as you get more comfortable with the machines.
