【粉絲Q&A】~ 潛水氣瓶中的空氣會不會被COVID-19染污?
之前談到怎麼評估感染COVID-19後,還能不能潛水;裡面提到最好的方法還是不要被感染,後面的問題就不用去想了。
再來有聊到一些裝備的消毒,不過有人私訊:「那氣瓶中的壓縮空氣會不會染污?這樣即便裝備消得再乾淨,還是直接吸到肺部去感染呀!?」
其實DAN (Divers Alert Network),有篇文章聊到這個問題,不過因為對為氣瓶充氣的設備不熟,就沒有在前一篇文章中展開來聊。這兒簡單翻譯一下重點,有興趣的再到最後的連結,去看原文的資料,比較不會失真。
文章的結論為「壓縮空氣過程中病毒無法存活,反而要去注意操作人員的手部清潔和各機台及接頭的表面清消工作」
主要的原因是「熱」
在之前SARS的研究中,SARS-CoV-1 病毒在被加熱到 133°F(56°C)15 分鐘後失去傳染性,且世界衛生組織也認定了這個溫度和時間。另一項研究發現,SARS-CoV-1 病毒在 40°F(4°C)和 98°F(37°C)之間保持穩定,但在 133°F(56°C)下 30 分鐘後失去傳染性。
而根據理想氣體方程式,PV=nRT,可以推導出:
T 2 = T 1 x (P 2 /P 1 ) ^ (n-1)/n
簡單來說呢,就是因為加壓的關係,溫度也提升到病毒無法存活的等級。
反而要注意的是操作機台人員的防疫習慣,如果手部清消沒有做好,而去污染了氣瓶的閥門或是加壓機儲氣槽的出口,才有可能在充氣的過程中去染污。
