It’s 4AM and before I start my weekend with another flurry of work and events, I wanted to post this up over my business page - the page that is open to friends , family as well as strangers alike - to read about not just my business or work related self … but snippets of my private life which I usually keep in a close journal as therapy for me when I need to pen down my musings.
This early morning post is about this decade old drum set.
This electronic drums was something I sought permission to buy from Azmi. I took drum lessons before marrying him, but never had the space to own a set.
But when we moved in together at our home we decided to buy 11 years ago, I coaxed him to agree to it and whilst he hesitated at first - he gave in and took charge looking for one that I could beat the sh*t out of, without causing lawsuits from neighbours (hence the decision to go electronic)
I could use it while I spun music from my DJ decks and it was snug enough to fit into the room which was meant for storage - not knowing God would bless us with more children and a pandemic that would lead us to pivot into creating a livestream studio to sustain our business.
He had told me to sell it off second hand - and I kept coming up with excuses that perhaps the boys would use it someday … or that it was too old and outdated “no one would buy it so best we just keep it”
Truth is?
Letting it go was like letting go of a dream in completing my music lessons which I had put a cork in the bottle upon finding out I was pregnant with Iman.
As time passed on, blessed with more children and different situations that made us have to change business strategies along the way, my music hobby was getting pushed lower down the priority list as more and more items on my “to do list” grew and climbed on top.
My children says I’m not fun anymore “you’re always working mama” and last night, as I went to put Ilon to sleep promising to sit with the older kids for our weekly Friday Family movie nights (a ritual we have started to keep the children’s sanity in check during this gloomy pandemic) , I am devastated as I ended up falling asleep halfway while working and breastfeeding Ilon.
They say you must find balance in life. Work, love and play.
I don’t know how to do that anymore.
How many of you feel that this pandemic has just made you become a work zombie?
Anyone up at this hour?
Shall take a cold shower now. I’ve got a show to run in 6 hours and I’ve not done a flow yet.

“betul, tapi siapa cipta big bang?”
“Tuhan…, tapi siapa cipta Tuhan?”
“Mari kembali kepada logic sains, semua kejadian dalam alam ini berpunca dari satu sebab, betul?”
“Ya, iaitu Letupan Big Bang”
“Tidak, ke belakang lagi, Letupan big bang juga ada puncanya, jadi , Bigbang dan seluruh alam ini di cipta oleh satu sebab yang tidak mempunyai sebab, setuju?”
“satu sebab yang tidak mempunyai sebab?”
“Ya, kita ambik puncanya dari SATU SEBAB YANG TIDAK MEMPUNYAI SEBAB”
"errr, susah nak terima yang ini, bagaimana wujud satu Sebab yang tidak mempunyai sebab?"
“Okey, mari kita bincang ciri ciri Sebab yang tidak punyai Sebab”
"Okey"
"Pertama, Punca alam ini mestilah dari SATU SEBAB YANG TIDAK MEMPUNYAI SEBAB! saya nak tekankan perkataan SATU! setuju!"
"okey.., satu, sebab jika dua sebab ianya tidak logik, mestilah satu, okey, logik!"
“Dan punca SEBAB itu juga tidak terikat dengan ruang dan masa, kerana Ruang dan Masa juga di cipta oleh Sebab yang tidak Bersebat”
“okey, tinggi ni, Sebab tidak Bersebab itu tidak terikat dengan ruang dan masa, Okey, logik”
“Oleh kerana Sebab yang tidak Bersebat tidak terikat dengan ruang dan masa, maka Dia juga tidak wujud dalam bentuk mana mana fizikal seperti pepejal, cecair atau gas kerana semua itu di Cipta!"
"okey, lagi tinggi"
"Tinggi tapi logik sebab jika ianya berbentuk fizikal, maka ianya juga dicipta, so punca alam ini adalah dari sebab yang tidak bersebab, yang tidak terikat dengan ruang dan masa dan bukan dalam bentuk mana mana fizikal”
“Tinggi sangat perbincangan ini, susah nak faham”
“Tak susah, sebab dalam Al Quran dah cerita pada seribu empat ratus tahun yang lampau, dan manusia zaman tu boleh faham, kenapa tidak zaman ini?”
“Ayat mana tu?”
“Bila orang kafir bertanya tentang Asal usul Tuhan, maka Allah suruh Nabi jawab lebih kurang sama macam apa kita bincang tadi dari sudut sains, iaitu dalam surah Al Ikhlas, Allah bagi tahu, Allah itu Tuhan yang Satu, (Satu sebab) Tidak bermula dan Tidak berakhir, (Tidak mempunyai sebab) Dan Tiada satu pun yang sama dengannya (Tidak serupa dengan mana-mana fizikal)”
“Wow, ayat al ikhlas penuh dengan logic sains”
“(1)Satu, (2) Tidak berawal dan berakhir, (3) Tidak serupa dengan mana mana ciptaan-Nya-itulah tempat bagi Tuhan yang mencipta segala galanya”
“Wow”
“Kemudian jika masih ada yang nak nafikan Tuhan kerana tidak Nampak, tapi bolehkah kita nafikan kewujudan Nabi Muhammad?”
“Sebab?”
“Ikut logic sains, orang yang lahir tempat jahat, akan jadi jahat, orang yang tidak pandai membaca akan jadi bodoh, tapi Nabi Muhammad lahir di tempat ramai orang jahat namun dengan Bantuan Allah, Nabi Muhammad yang tidak pandai membaca, tapi dalam sejarah telah menjadi pemimpin dunia yang bijaksana, ketua perang terbaik, pakar motovasi, pakar bisnes, pakar perunding, pakar kehidupan, mampu menyatukan kaum yang bergaduh seratus tahun, mampu menawan negara demi negara, pengikut bertambah setiap hari sampai sekarang, kata katanya berhikmah, rupanya indah, akhlaknya mulia, sehingga seorang penulis barat nak menulis buku tentang manusia paling berpengaruh dengan guna hujah sains, Nabi Muhammad lah orang paling layak duduk tempat pertama sebagai manudia paling berpengaruh dalam dunia ini”

“Maka, manusia mungkin boleh nafikan Tuhan kerana tidak nampak, tapi bolehkah kita nafikan kewujudan Nabi Muhammad yang satu sahaja seumpanya dalam dunia ini, kitab Al quran yang di bawanya pula penuh dengan common sense, logic sains. siap cerita tentang Big bang walaupun pada zaman tak ada internet”
“Oh, hidup terlalu singkat untuk bergaduh sama ada Tuhan wujud atau tidak”
“Setuju, hidup terlalu singkat untuk bergaduh dengan Tuhan”

Ps: Manusia sibuk bergaduh tentang siapa yang mulakan Big Bang? (letupan awal alam semesta) hingga terlupa dosa dan pahala, tapi manusia lupa Second Big Bang is coming, letupan akhir alam semesta yang akan memulakan Alam Akhirat lalu manusia di kehidupan itu semuanya ingat tentang lebihan dosa dan baki pahala masing masing. Sungguh hidup terlalu singkat untuk bergaduh dengan Tuhan.

Three weeks back with my family resumed in this video. I can't resist to watch this video again and again, always feeling those goosebumps and emotion coming up. I'm thankful to had the chance to visit them during this not ending epidemic, I didn't take it for granted and enjoyed every second of this trip.
