不久前,在Batu Kawan 开了一家高颜值的精品酒店 The Upper House。
酒店的餐厅名为BAMBU SMALL PLATES,位于酒店的顶楼(4楼),环境优美不说,泳池也就在旁边,绝对是拍照打卡的好地方。我们品尝了他们推出的 Chef Tasting Menu,共有两种餐单选择:
初级版的可以选择
Extreme Thai Chef Tasting Menu(9 道料理)RM98
而进阶版的是
Extreme Thai Supreme Chef Tasting Menu(11道料理)RM128
Chef Tasting Menu 菜单如下:
1) Tom Yam Tapioca Cracker
2) Yum Woon Sen
3) Fresh Baked Bun With Thai Green Curry
4) Herbs Rice
5) Steam Razor Clams
6) Pan Seared Scallop (RM128)
7) Seafood Skewer
8) Mini Lobster (RM128)
9) Cucumber & Lime Granita
10) Duck Leg Meat With Red Curry And Lychee (RM98 & RM128) / Beef Massaman ( RM128) / Sous Vide Red Snapper With Gaeng Som (RM98)
11) Coconut Mousse
两份菜单多数菜品都是一样的,主要是 6) Pan Seared Scallop 、 8) Mini Lobster 还有主菜各有一道不同的菜品选择。
众多菜品当中我们最喜爱的莫过于第五道的 Steam Razor Clams,汤头处理得很鲜甜,蛤蜊全部都是开了口的,而且很新鲜,肯定惊艳你的味蕾。
主菜我们品尝了其中两道,Duck Leg Meat With Red Curry And Lychee,吃鸭肉最怕就是很干也很柴,厨师特别选用了鸭腿肉绝对是经过了精心的考量,鸭肉吃起来鲜嫩多汁,配上红咖喱和荔枝这种看似不搭的组合,味道却意外的融洽。
另一道则是 Beef Massaman,只能说厨师在烹饪的过程下了一定的功夫,牛肉的火候和烹饪时间控制得很好,玛莎曼咖喱配上经过烘烤的亚洲独有香料,再佐上也是经过烘烤的花生,每次咀嚼都会口齿芬芳。

Day 13 MCO: had a fantastic restaurant quality meal at home today. Thanks to the DIY menu by @skilletat163 & @beta.kl, you can enjoy a fine dine meal in the comfort of your home during this #MovementControlOrder period.
To demonstrate exactly how easy and fuss free it is, @babysumokids took over the reins in the kitchen today and took turns to plate these beautiful dishes up. Most of the dishes come with precooked ingredients and only require minor heating and then you plate according to your creativity and enjoy! The food was ultra delicious and the kids had so much fun too, playing the role of little chefs (and even servers for the evening). What we had:
-dried longan and goji berries loaf. .
- sous vide Norwegian salmon.
- Lawas risotto with scallops.
- Confit Pongteh duck leg.
- Musang king durian mousse.
-Chocolate and Earl grey tea mousse.
