I love Ansel's expression here and seeing his lovely smile always helps to chase away the Monday blues. Thank you for brightening up my day, baby boy.

As the fourth born, he has been wearing hand-me-downs or low-priced clothes bought online. This is because by now, I know how fast they outgrow baby outfits and when you have a big family of six, every cent counts.

Still, many a time, I feel like he has been shortchanged and deserves something better. Thanks to @babycloset.sg, this boy received new outfits from Purebaby's Essential Range which is made of 100% certified organic cotton. Yippee!

It's really 一分钱一分货 (you get what you pay for) and I am impressed by the softness and comfort of these clothing. It is breathable, gentle on the baby's delicate skin and easily the best quality outfits he has so far.

I love the classic zip growsuits because not only is it soft to feel but easy to wear too. All you have to do is put in the hands and legs, and zip all the way up (yes, no more press studs!). There is even a safety fold for the zip too, how functional and thoughtful this design is. Well, this boy definitely looks happy in his new growsuit, doesn't he?

It was a pleasant surprise to see how the clothes were packed in recycled wrapping paper, thumbs up to @babycloset_sg for being eco-friendly and using sustainable packaging.

【絵本『えんとつ町のプペル』が50万部突破！キンコン西野が本屋を応援する理由】

映画『えんとつ町のプペル』の公開まで後２ヶ月ということで、制作も佳境に差し掛かっておりまして、同時に、あれやこれやと情報が発表されていっています。

裏話を言うと、近々（ハロウィン前後）で、少し大きめの情報といいますか、作品といいますか、そういったモノを発表します。
今回のオープニング主題歌を担当してくださったHYDEさん絡みの作品です。

とにかく、「エンターテイメントやってるなぁ〜」と皆が明るくなるものであることは間違いないので、お楽しみに。

さて、そんな中、絵本『えんとつ町のプペル』が、おかげ様で増刷に増刷を重ねて、なんと５３刷（ずり）になりまして、発行部数は５０万部を突破しました。

作り手として、作品が届くことほど嬉しいことはなく、それもこれも皆様のおかげです。
本当にありがとうございます。



さて。

その絵本『えんとつ町のプペル』ですが、今回の映画公開を記念して、映画バージョンのカバー表紙を巻いた絵本『えんとつ町のプペル』を販売することが決まりました。

映画のメインビジュアルをあしらった表紙になっておりまして、裏表紙には映画のシーンがいくつか入っているのと、あと、声優さんの名前も入っています。

スタッフと話したのは、「今しか出せない（今しか手に入れられない）絵本を出そう」ということで、裏表紙に声優さんの名前が入っている絵本って、こんな時しか販売できないので、かえって希少価値が高いかなぁと思い、今回のデザインに至りました。


１０年後とか、２０年後とかに、絵本の裏表紙にある声優さんの名前を見たら、「ああ、そういえば、この年は映画を公開したなぁ」と思えるじゃないですか？

そういう体験が共有できるのって、同じ時代を生きた人の特権だなぁと思って、おもくそ映画に振ったデザインにしました。

で、「今回、この映画バージョンの絵本『えんとつ町のプペル』をどこで販売するのか？」というのが今日の本題になるのですが、ぶっちゃけ、こんな話をして、最後に自社の販売リンクを貼っておけば、そこそこ買っていただけると思うんです。

でも、それだと自分達だけが利益を享受することになってしまう。

僕は「一人勝ち」みたいなものには一切興味がなくて、そんなことよりも、普段、応援してくださっている本屋さんに恩返しといいましょうか、この機会に応援したくて、今回の映画バージョンの表紙の『えんとつ町のプペル』はネット販売を辞めて、本屋さんのみでの販売とさせていただくことに決めました。



やっぱり、今回の映画化にしたって、そもそもポップを作って下さったり、それこそ絵本を探している人に、売り場まで案内してくださったり、本屋さんが、そういったことをしてくださったおかげ（その積み重ね）でしかないので、もう全力で本屋さんを応援します。



目的は「本屋さんを応援すること」なので、それこそ本屋さんのオンラインショップで販売されるのはオッケーで、僕自身、そういう本屋さんを見つけ次第、自分のSNSでご紹介させていただきます。

とにもかくにも、映画公開期間中しか販売しない映画バージョンの絵本『えんとつ町のプペル』をお求めの方は、是非、地元の本屋さんまで足を運んでみてください。

その際、『えんとつ町のプペル』以外に、「おや、なんか、この本も面白そうだぞ」というのがあれば、手にとっていただけると嬉しいです。

今年はコロナでオフラインのお店はどこも大変な思いをされたと思うので、微力ながら、こういった形で後押しさせていただきます。
