這次與 Art Fund合作的博物館企劃，第二站來到倫敦花園博物館（Garden Museum），座落泰晤士河南岸，博物館由十一世紀的聖瑪麗教堂發展而成，本身就是古蹟，從館內的彩繪窗也看得見教堂的痕跡，也是全世界第一座以園藝史為主題的博物館。

除了來倫敦一定會造訪的大英博物館或國家美術館，其實倫敦有很多像這樣以特定主題的博物館，這次的博物館企劃就是想介紹這些不見得知名的好去處，看過其他橫跨各國、各時代的豪邁館藏，會發現好好地講一件事也特別具有魅力，格外可愛，像花園博物館除了細數園藝歷史，也展出很多古代和現代的園藝工具，還有以植栽花朵為靈感創作的藝術品，當然也有各種盆栽和種子，搭配博物館多彩、帶有生命力的內裝風格，讓人逛得相當愉悅。

博物館裡也有一座花園，很有生意頭腦在旁邊開了一間咖啡廳，雖然和外頭繁忙的街道只有咫尺之遙，但午後時光在花園裡喝著下午茶，彷彿像在度假一樣身處不同的世界。

The second museum of our journey with Art Fund is the Garden Museum!

Located on the south bank of the Thames, the Garden Museum is the very first museum about the history of gardening in the world and the only one in Britain. It provides us with a ticket to step into the history and development of gardens and gardening in the UK.

FYI: Adele không (hoàn toàn) nói giọng Cockney như nhiều người lầm tưởng. Theo truyền thống, những cư dân Cockney nguyên thủy thường giới hạn trong một khu vực tương đối nhỏ ở miền Đông thủ đô Luân Đôn và “lớn lên trong tiếng chuông nhà thờ Bow Bells”. Còn Adele sinh ra và lớn lên ở miền Bắc Luân Đôn, giọng của Adele được dân bản địa miêu tả là sự pha trộn giữa Bắc Luân Đôn/Brighton/Nam Luân Đôn và một chút kỹ thuật âm tắc thanh hầu của giọng Cockney.

*Giọng Estuary là một dạng tiếng Anh-Anh hiện đại, sự kết hợp giữa cách phát âm, ngữ pháp và từ vựng của tiếng Anh phổ thông và tiếng Anh vùng Đông Nam, được cho là bắt nguồn từ lưu vực sông Thames. In this hiking vlog I went on a hike to try and find a secret, abandoned medieval church found near Henley on Thames in the beautiful English Countryside.

The church is called St James Church ruins, Bix Brand and little is known about this abandoned medieval church. I did this hike as part of my training for the Lejog. In June I will be walking the length of the UK for the mental health charity mind. During the build up to this hiking challenge I have been doing walks every other day in England to prepare. In this video I continue my training to walk the length of the UK by hiking through the English Countryside and doing some weight training.

The first hike I did was in the Chiltern Hills on a trail called "Whiteleaf to Chequeurs Walk". Unfortunately the weather wasn't on my side and it ended up raining and even snowing during the whole hike.

The next hike I did was also in the Chiltern Hills near Henley on Thames and the trail is called "Mill End, Southend and Frieth Circular". It was a truly beautiful English nature walk that showcased the English Countryside with some of the most beautiful views I have ever seen!

In this hiking vlog I continue my training to walk the length of the UK by doing a long walk along the River Thames to Windsor Castle.

In this hiking adventure series I prepare for my long hike across the UK in the summer. Currently my training plan is to do long walks in the English countryside every other day and inbetween these hikes I do strength training. In this hiking vlog I go on one of my longest hikes yet along the River Thames to Windsor Castle.
