但是，面臨封鎖、宅居令等限制政策的英美民眾，在疫情越發嚴峻之下，對於資訊的需求量提升，為何新聞業仍會遭遇困境？之中，卻有新聞業者在一片慘況中逆勢成長，凸顯出在疫情下產業的兩極化發展。
疫情過後，原先就已面臨到社群崛起挑戰的新聞業，是否會就此衰退甚至消失？要怎麼度過眼前這場難關？英美目前都已步入後疫情時代，業者們都正推出各自的應對方法，希望不會搭上這班產業的「末日列車」......。
