Let’s talk about persecution and suffering for Jesus’ sake.

We need to change our minds about suffering. A believer’s greatest testimony is not in living a materially blessed life, but in suffering fiery persecution for Jesus’ sake and still keeping the faith without disowning His name.

Can you share an incident whereby you suffered persecution for Jesus’ sake and was powerfully delivered from that trouble by God?

Have you ever been “slain in the Spirit”? I’m interested to know about your experience with this phenomenon.
I know it’s true because my wife and I both experienced it, and I even caused her to be slain in the Spirit when I placed my hand on her forehead when the Holy Spirit was moving in the place.

I’m talking about that experience when the power of God touches you and you can’t remain standing—you just fall and are seconds later enveloped by the deepest sense of God’s love and peace—euphoria unspeakable.
I’ve only experienced this once when a minister of God’s word, Dr Chauncey Crandall, touched me on the forehead as he was praying in tongues while ministering at an event.
One second I was standing, and the next I was in the ground.

There were people at the altar who also fell nearby who were weeping loudly and some were laughing loudly.
I was just lying down on the floor smiling and I didn’t want to get up from that deeply restful experience.

Looking beyond the surface, the Holy Spirit reveals that these paint pictures of Jesus and His life, death, burial, resurrection, ascension, return and eventual complete victory over evil.
