⇒ Chúng ta sẽ giải phần đầu cho tới khi nào số câu đúng ở phần này dao động theo đúng mục tiêu mà chúng ta đề ra.

Ví dụ: Chúng ta có mục tiêu là Part 1 của Listening phải đúng ít nhất 7 câu/10 câu → Chúng ta sẽ giải Part 1 cho tới khi nào số câu đúng dao động liên tục 7/10 → Lúc đó ta mới giải tới Part 2, tương tự như vậy với các Phần còn lại.

Chúng ta vẫn tiếp tục phân tích bài sau khi giải xong + từ vựng và bảng Keyword Table.

Ở giai đoạn này chúng ta tập trung chủ yếu ôn Part 1 + 2.

蕭叔短評：This will go down in history as one of the best speeches ever to have graced the English language.

This is the power of language. It’s more than just beautiful words and carefully crafted sentences. It’s also about having the empathy to understand what your audience needs at this moment, and what you, in your unique position, can deliver.

I am speaking to you at what I know is an increasingly challenging time. A time of disruption in the life of our country: a disruption that has brought grief to some, financial difficulties to many, and enormous changes to the daily lives of us all.

I want to thank everyone on the NHS front line, as well as care workers and those carrying out essential roles, who selflessly continue their day-to-day duties outside the home in support of us all. I am sure the nation will join me in assuring you that what you do is appreciated and every hour of your hard work brings us closer to a return to more normal times.

I also want to thank those of you who are staying at home, thereby helping to protect the vulnerable and sparing many families the pain already felt by those who have lost loved ones. Together we are tackling this disease, and I want to reassure you that if we remain united and resolute, then we will overcome it.

I hope in the years to come everyone will be able to take pride in how they responded to this challenge. And those who come after us will say that the Britons of this generation were as strong as any. That the attributes of self-discipline, of quiet good-humoured resolve and of fellow-feeling still characterise this country. The pride in who we are is not a part of our past, it defines our present and our future.

The moments when the United Kingdom has come together to applaud its care and essential workers will be remembered as an expression of our national spirit; and its symbol will be the rainbows drawn by children.

Across the Commonwealth and around the world, we have seen heart-warming stories of people coming together to help others, be it through delivering food parcels and medicines, checking on neighbours, or converting businesses to help the relief effort.

And though self-isolating may at times be hard, many people of all faiths, and of none, are discovering that it presents an opportunity to slow down, pause and reflect, in prayer or meditation.

It reminds me of the very first broadcast I made, in 1940, helped by my sister. We, as children, spoke from here at Windsor to children who had been evacuated from their homes and sent away for their own safety. Today, once again, many will feel a painful sense of separation from their loved ones. But now, as then, we know, deep down, that it is the right thing to do.

While we have faced challenges before, this one is different. This time we join with all nations across the globe in a common endeavour, using the great advances of science and our instinctive compassion to heal. We will succeed - and that success will belong to every one of us.

We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return: we will be with our friends again; we will be with our families again; we will meet again.

But for now, I send my thanks and warmest good wishes to you all.

English stress pattern is manifested through syllable length, loudness and pitch. In other words, stressed syllables are longer, louder and higher pitched than unstressed ones. Sometimes one word that is stressed differently may have different grammatical functions and meanings, for example, the homographs “record” (verb) and “record” (noun). “Record” has the stress on second syllable when it is a verb, and it has stress on the first when it is a noun. •不覺得每一個政治人物都需要英文，有專業和可靠的翻譯輔助，就覺得不會是一種困擾
•英文是一種工具，多一種工具就多一種選擇，但這種工具用不好時也有可能會造成一些誤解

•短句的流暢度沒有大問題，但是連貫性可以增加

•從語音結構上來看，中文是一種「音節計時語言（syllable-timed language）及「聲調語言」（tone language），每個字由一個音節構成，唸起來各音節輕重相當且時間大致等長，而且每個字有自己的聲調；但英語是一種「重音計時語言」（stress-timed language）及「語調語言」(intonation language)，每個字的音節數不一，由各音節是否有重音來決定其輕重、長短與音階高低，而重音落於何處也會決定其語意之不同。

English stress pattern is manifested through syllable length, loudness and pitch. In other words, stressed syllables are longer, louder and higher pitched than unstressed ones. Sometimes one word that is stressed differently may have different grammatical functions and meanings, for example, the homographs “record” (verb) and “record” (noun). “Record” has the stress on second syllable when it is a verb, and it has stress on the first when it is a noun. •個人認為是有知識和魅力的一位候選人
•聽他用英文演講一段時間真的有困擾，因為沒重音，很難辨識重點
•講話沒有太多語調和節奏，在英文發音裡面是一個非常重要的環節
•會導致聽者需要完全專注他每一個字才能辨識他在說什麼
•不覺得每一個政治人物都需要英文，有專業和可靠的翻譯輔助，就覺得不會是一種困擾
•英文是一種工具，多一種工具就多一種選擇，但這種工具用不好時也有可能會造成一些誤解
