The last time I got to taste a traditional Swedish delicacy was during the filming of a tv game show that I’ll never forget. We tried sour herring straight out of the can, which was surprisingly delicious to me, despite carrying an aroma that filled up the film set for 2 days, brought us all to tears, got us running for our dear lives, escaping splattered juices that covered our hair and costumes. ⠀
This time around, I had a much more pleasant encounter with the Smörgåstårta, a cute little Swedish sandwich cake. I spent 5 minutes admiring the beauty of it before inhaling it in 2 gulps like a real classy lady.
