小時候聽過老師說一個故事：
.
有一個老和尚獨居在一間公寓，他的樓上住了個早出晚歸的房客。每到半夜，房客回家後就會脫掉兩隻皮鞋，鞋子掉落地板的聲音常吵得老和尚失眠睡不著。直到有一天，老和尚聽到一隻皮鞋掉落的聲音後，就一直等待另一隻皮鞋掉落直到天亮。一夜失眠的和尚終於忍不住一大早上樓敲房客的門，問他為什麼只脫一隻鞋子，害他整晚睡不著。這時樓上的房客說：我昨晚太累了，脫了一隻鞋後，就躺在床上睡死了。

<>就是這樣的一個故事。
.
小貓頭鷹上床前聽到一個微小的聲響。他打開了門，清空了碗櫃，拆掉了地板木條，卻一直找不到聲響的來源。於是他生氣地拆掉了屋頂，並等待聲響的到來。他等著…等著…終於聽到那微弱的一聲squeek。為了找出聲音來源，他甚至還拆掉了所有的牆。最後一無所有的貓頭鷹，終於看到聲響的來源，原來是一隻小老鼠正對著他吱吱叫。這下小貓頭鷹終於可以和小老鼠睡個好眠了。

When I was little, I heard a teacher tell a story….

An old monk lived alone in an apartment, and there was a late-coming tenant who lived upstairs. Every midnight, the tenant would take off his shoes on his bed before he fell to sleep. The noise from the dropping shoes always bothered this old monk to sleep well throughout the night. One day, the old monk heard the sound of a shoe dropped, he had been waiting for another shoe fall all night. Overnight sleepless, the monk finally could not help knocking the tenant’s door in the very early morning. He was exasperated to ask the tenant why he only took off one shoe, he had been waiting for another shoe fall all night long. Then the tenant was embarrassed to said: I was too tired last night, so I was out cold after taking one shoe off.

That is what the book “Good night owl” all about !

Owl was ready for bed. But as soon as he settled in, he heard a strange noise. He would never get to sleep unless he could figure out what's going on! He looked everywhere- he opened the door, emptied every shelf of the cupboard, and pulled up the floorboards, but he still could not find out where the sound came from. He even took down the roof and tore down the wall to wait for the noise. But while he was busy tearing his house apart, he noticed one tiny, squeaky mouse stood in front of him. Finally, the owl could sleep well at the night (with the squeaky little mouse).

如果你吃太飽，如果你卡在門口，你該怎麼辦?

Dave是一隻很棒的大貓咪，就在吃了一頓豐盛的晚餐和早餐後，正當他要出門曬太陽，卻被卡在貓門裡。小蟲看見了他的冏樣，告訴花園裡的每一個小動物。雖然大家笑得美叮美噹，但還是決定要幫幫Dave。狗狗試著想要用叫聲嚇他讓他脫困，小動物們試著用美食引誘，甚至還試著搔他癢讓他出洞。突然間，小蟲想到一個奇怪又聰明的辦法，它要大家不斷地餵Dave吃豆子，就在吃了一大堆豆子後，Dave 放了一個超級大的屁，自己就像火箭一樣發射到天空，當然，這時的Dave脫困了。

If you eat too much, if you are stuck in a door, what will you do?
.
Dave was a big and fantastic cat. One day, he headed outside for a snooze in the sun but he was stuck in a cat flap after eating an enormous dinner and breakfast. A bug saw that, and told all the animals in the garden. Though all his friends couldn’t stop laughing, but they decided to help set Dave free. Dog tried to scare him free, others tried to tempt Dave out with tasty food, they even tried to tickle him out, but Dave was still stuck. Suddenly the bug had a strange but bright idea, he asked the animals to catapult beans into Dave’s mouth and he surely ate a lot. After being fed a lot of beans, Dave couldn’t help doing a mega fart and he blasted off into sky like a rocket. Of course, he was free after that.
