"By those angels who extract with violence, And by those who remove with ease" 79:1-2
Surah An-Naziat •
The main theme of this Surah is about the hereafter.
The soul will be extracted from the body 2 ways :- either violently or easily. This all depends on the path we choose in this life, and will know the news at the moment of death. The soul of a sinner who is arrogant, wicked, disobeys Allah & does not repent, will have news of the punishment ahead & will be told it is wretched. It will then be torn out, yanked out, & there will be a decayed smell. The soul will be denied Jannah and thrown into a low prison. Once the body is buried, the questioning begins.
However the soul of a righteous believer Angels will give the good news of Allah's pleasure and that Allah wants to meet you. When a person loves to meet Allah, Allah will love to meet this person. In the dunya this person was pleased with Allah and did what he was supposed to do. The soul is taken out gently, quietly, and the grave is expanded and the soul sleeps or waits with others in iliheen (VIP Area) until judgement day.
Reflect upon these 2 ayat and ask yourself, what kind of ending do you want? This all depends on the path we choose in this life. The reality of death is something we need to prepare for.
In verses 1-5 Allah talks about the many different Angels and their responsibilities and takes an oath by them. The response to this oath is that the day of judgement will definitely come and it is easy for Allah to resurrect us for accountability. In The rest of the verses Allah describes the Day of Judgement, lessons learnt by the example of Pharoah & His universal signs to make us understand the reality of resurrection.
Lessons •
1. Always make doa to Allah for a good ending with ease.
2. Purify your soul by removing arrogance and negativities and adorn with light of Iman and Taqwa.
3. Strive 4 good deeds that you will remember on the day of Judgement.
4. Do da'wah with kindness, wisdom & beauty.
5. Control your nafs, reactions, do not exceed limits.
6. Take account b4 u sleep. What did I do today?
