今天是 #世界博物館日，今年的主題是「重新復原、重新想像」。

AIT支持跨境藝術和文化交流，很高興台北是「聚變：AA倫敦建築聯盟的前銳時代」展覽於亞洲首展的城市! 這場獨特的展覽是由忠泰美術館、阿爾文．博亞爾斯基典藏共同策畫，並由兩位美國美術館館長伊格爾．馬里亞諾維奇、簡．豪爾德共同策展，將展出超過一百件當代建築名家親手繪製的版畫及設計圖稿，包括美國知名建築師 - Frank Gehry, Daniel Libeskind, Jeremie Frank, Mary Miss, John Hejduk, Alex Wall等人，以及國際建築大師Rem Koolhaas, Zaha Hadid, Bernard Tschumi等等。

對建築師來說，繪圖不只是設計與形式的語言，也是想法溝通與探索建築可能性的媒介。這些精選自博亞爾斯基擔任AA 倫敦建築聯盟院長期間的私人收藏，提供觀者罕見的機會一窺當代建築發展史上的雋永時刻。熱愛藝術與設計的粉絲們，千萬不要錯過這次展覽!

Today is #InternationalMuseumDay! This year’s theme is “The future of Museums: Recover and Reimagine.”

AIT supports arts and cultural exchange across borders and is delighted that Taipei is the first stop in Asia for this exhibition. Co-organized by JUT Art Museum and the Alvin Boyarsky Archive, and curated by two American curators - Igor Marjanović and Jan Howard, this exhibition displays 100+ prints, drawings and publications made by some of the most prominent architects – including Americans Frank Gehry, Daniel Libeskind, Jeremie Frank, Mary Miss, John Hejduk, Alex Wall, along with international architects Rem Koolhaas, Zaha Hadid, Bernard Tschumi and many more.

For architects, drawing is not only a language of design and format, but also a medium to communicate ideas and explore architecture. The exhibition offers a rare glimpse into pivotal moments in architectural history and inspiration for reimagining the future. As a lover of art and design, you won’t miss this exhibition! 親愛的觀眾朋友們，因應疫情升溫，忠泰美術館配合中央防疫升級及市府相關防疫規定，即日起將加強實施以下入館相關防疫措施，敬請各位觀眾朋友配合，謝謝！

📍入館參觀之每一位觀眾，請配合美術館實聯制措施，於入館前填寫紙本或電子的「防疫聲明書」：https://reurl.cc/v1yrke 。
📍入館參觀者皆需配合館方測量額溫及雙手酒精消毒，並請務必全程佩戴口罩。
📍啟動入館人流管制作業，開館期間如達管制人數上限，將暫停開放民眾入館。
📍於6/8前，將暫緩大型活動、團體活動及暫停開放團體導覽預約服務。
📍凡曾於14日內有出入境之旅遊史，或體溫超過37.5度、有感冒、咳嗽或發燒等症狀者，將不得入館參觀，並請儘早就醫或執行自主健康管理。

💡本館工作人員、第一線服務人員於值勤前均落實測量額溫、手部酒精消毒，執勤時皆佩戴口罩。如果發現工作人員有感冒等徵狀者，將要求其暫停工作儘速就醫，並依政府規定執行自主健康管理。本館已加強每日環境清潔及消毒作業。

Jut Art Museum COVID-19 Precautionary Measures

To comply with the upgraded epidemic prevention measures of the Central Epidemic Command Center and related protective regulations of the Taipei City Government, Jut Art Museum has taken the necessary measures to ensure that everyone’s visit is as safe as possible. Please read on the followings below:

📍Visitors’ Health Declaration: For stable control of the pandemic situation, each visitor must fill in the Health Declaration on site ( https://reurl.cc/MZajjX ). If you have traveled abroad within 14 days, to reduce the risk of disease transmission, you should stay at home or within the area specified by the health authority.
📍Personal hygiene and protection: All visitors are requested to wear facemasks during their visits in the museum. The museum staff will take visitors’ body temperature at the entrance as necessary precautions. Visitors are also advised to clean the hands with alcohol hand sanitizer.
📍The admission will be suspended when the number of visitors reaches the regulated maximum capacity.
📍All events and guided tours before June 8th are cancelled or postponed.
📍Visitors whose body temperature exceeds 37.5℃ are advised to seek medical care and their admission will not be allowed.
📍Other than above measures, Jut Art Museum will continue to take standard precautions advised by the Department of Health, Taipei City Government. Any further adjustments will be updated on our website and Facebook fanpage immediately. As for current exhibitions and events, referring regulations will be posted on each web page.

It is a milestone commemorating the history of Taiwan's architectural aesthetics. We anticipate that the Museum to act as a new form of think tank, catalyst and platform devoted to corporate social responsibility fulfillment and addressing the societal dynamics of the 21st century. We also anticipate it to carry on the legacy of “A Better Tomorrow” that defines much of the Jut Foundation’s work, to become the first museum in Taiwan that is focused on the issues of “future” and “city”. The Jut Art Museum, located in the heart of Taipei, is also where the Foundation's debut exhibition of "Museum of Tomorrow" is held. After ten years of circuit shows across the city, the exhibition is now back to where it all started, becoming a "showpiece in the heartland of the city and urban inhabitation." As an up-and-coming art establishment, the Museum serves to explore what our future might hold, and transdisciplinary issues. The curation process of the Museum is three-pronged: "the future," "urban architecture," and "contemporary art." Japanese architect Jun Aoki is tasked with spacing designs of the museum. The identification system is developed by Atsuki Kikuchi. This is their first museum collaboration project in Taiwan. The Museum－a statement of both sophistication yet cutting-edge conception－is downtown's new architectural and art landmark; and it is poised at remaking and bringing new energy into Taipei's cityscape.

The Jut Art Museum (JAM) opened to the public in October 2016, as the first museum in Taiwan that is focused on the issues of “future” and “city”.

恭喜《聚變：AA倫敦建築聯盟的前銳時代》建築概念展在台北盛大開幕！AIT文化官馬明遠也在昨天參加了開幕典禮，展現AIT對跨境藝術和文化交流的大力支持。

「AA倫敦建築聯盟」為培育國際建築大師的搖籃，此展覽收錄當代建築師充滿前衛思潮的繪圖原稿，包括AA前院長阿爾文博亞爾斯基（Alvin Boyarsky）的典藏品，以及美國建築名家Frank Gehry、Daniel Libeskind、Mary Miss、Jeremie Frank、John Hejduk 和 Alex Wall 的作品。

這場展覽是由忠泰美術館 Jut Art Museum和阿爾文博亞爾斯基典藏館共同策畫，並由兩位美國美術館策展人Igor Marjanović 及Jan Howard共同策展。

Congratulations to the exhibition “Drawing Ambience: Alvin Boyarsky and the Architectural Association” for its opening in Taipei! Yesterday AIT Cultural Affairs Officer Luke Martin attended the opening event to show our support for cross-border art and cultural exchanges.

The exhibition is co-organized by JUT Art Museum and the Alvin Boyarsky Archives, with pieces selected by two curators from the United States - Igor Marjanović and Jan Howard, who also greeted Taiwan audience through pre-recorded videos. This exhibition displays Boyarsky’s impressive collection of drawings, prints and publications during his pivotal tenure as chairman of the Architecutral Association. The exhibitions include pieces by Americans architects Frank Gehry, Daniel Libeskind, Mary Miss, Jeremie Frank, John Hejduk and Alex Wall.

It has direct meanings like “to wear, put on, tangle, roll up,” and it is often used figuratively.

I put on my body.

I can not see all of my body for a lifetime.

Tissues make up my body are kept being renewed, and they will vanish someday.

The body without contents will not remain, and where the contents without the body go?

Will they keep remaining?

Like Snakes and cicadas, most parts of their outer layer of the skin slough off at once and become new.

Although what is left is not a dead body, it still has a perfect shape of the animal and it has no life. Is it an evidence of its life? Is there an evidence of my life?

‘Matou’ also sounds like “willing to wait” in Japanese.

I’m waiting for my death.

‘Tsukimatou’ means “to haunt.”

It always haunt me and don’t go. My body haunt me until the day I die.

‘Soumatou’ revolving lantern

An expression describes an occurrence that many visions appear in one’s mind as shadow cast by a revolving lantern. It happens when people have a brush with death and past memories come and go randomly and quickly.

‘Mattou’ means “to complete.”

I completed my life.
