An Exhibition by Titikmerah Collective

GET-GO, a reference to beginnings, or the start of ‘something’, is the title of Titikmerah Collective’s group exhibition. Each member of the collective was asked to reflect and question ‘Titikmerah’, and what it means to them individually. The exhibition presents a multitude of experiences and views, yet recognizes a common element; artists who start or have an association with the collective appreciate the support, and are encouraged to step into the visual art ecosystem.

Featuring 16 visuals artists who are either core or transitory members of the collective, artists participating in GET-GO are Adeputra Masri, Ajim Juxta, Aleff Ahmad, Amey Azizan, Arifin Amin, BlankMalaysia, Caryn Koh, Fish Hoe, Latif Maulan, Leonard Leong, Lina Tan, Meikei Ho, Ony Jamsari, Suki Pamungkas, Syahbandi Samat and Tomi Heri.

硬幣沉沒但願希望浮現，半浮不沉是演出是寓言

有種耳鳴，與盲目接連，
有種聲音，能在水中傳送，
有種彩虹，總在艱難時乍現。

香港視覺藝術中心特別在香港傷健協會賽馬會傷健營策劃及製作一項場域特定的無障礙媒體藝術表演，邀請梁基爵連同音樂家及演出者以多元的藝術形式，給予不同能力的觀眾新的藝術體驗。

2019年梁基爵的一個新嘗試，稍微踏離開音樂的主軸，從音樂走向另一風景。演出選擇了在一個泳池內發生，半浮不沉有如這個城市的狀態，亦有如當中人們的心境。靜默可能是一種無聲呼喊，水中波頻引發漣漪效應。這是一場夢囈般的音樂會，又像是一個城市的寓言。

Can a sunken coin generate any hope?
Intervened between floating and sinking, a performance concurs with an allegory.

A kind of tinnitus that connects to numbness.
A kind of sound that passes through water.
A kind of rainbow that glitters from darkness.

To further extend media art to all walks of life, promote art accessibility in a wider culture of art for all and enrich the experience of artists/audience with different abilities in all possible art forms, vA! has identified an alternative site location in Jockey Club PHAB Camp of Hong Kong PHAB Association to produce an accessible media art performance and invited a group of artists/ musicians/ performers led by GayBird to explore new creative frontiers of media technologies in contemporary art.

GayBird’s exploratory return in 2019 slightly withdraws himself from the musical world and leaps forward to a different artistic landscape. Setting in a swimming pool, the obscure condition between floating and sinking vividly resembles the collective ambiguities of the city and its people. Voicelessness can be a sort of silent cry. Waves in the water may lead to ripple effects. This is a sleep-talking-like concert, and perhaps an allegorical representation of a city.

這次到溫哥華除了參與溫哥華藝術書展VABF之外，我們的好朋友Jon Vaughn認為除了書展應該再來點有趣的東西，很快的，我們決定在溫哥華舉辦 《Realms II》聯展(目前《Realms II》已在多倫多、溫哥華舉辦)，這次到《Realms II》展覽場地看見28位來自世界各國藝術家的原稿，覺得很感動，藝術創作是可以用許多不同形式、眼光表現的，並不是被『定型』的，自由、靈活、不受限是我在本次展覽藝術家原稿中獲得的寶貴能量，而我也很開心和榮幸自己的作品可以參與其中，這次聯展有很多我喜歡的偶像啊～～～厚！

《Realms II》展覽活動時間為10/15～10/22，展覽免費入場，與此同時10/19號《Realms II》展覽也是溫哥華藝術書展開幕派對活動，

《Realms II》是一個藝術計畫，由策展人Jon Vaughn邀請100位來自各國藝術家的作品，整理成冊，出版書籍和舉辦展覽活動。本次Jon Vaughn挑選了28位藝術家的作品，其作品主要專注於繪畫、拼貼、布織品、網版印刷。本次展覽將展出來自台北、東京、溫哥華、波特蘭的藝術家為本次聯展所創作的新作品，同時他們也會參與溫哥華藝術書展。

Realms II is a project that brings together 100 artists across the pages of a book and a exhibition of works. For Dynamo Arts Association Vaughn has selected the works of 28 artists focusing on painting, collage, drawing, fibre and print-based work. The exhibition will feature new pieces made especially for this edition by artists-in-attendance from Taipei, Portland and Vancouver who will also be tabling at the Vancouver Art Book Fair.
