Led my second group hike of the month and this time it was to Bt Brown Cemetery and with a bunch of fun-loving Daddies from Daddy Matters ! The majestic 'Avatar' trees still awe me even though it's my third time here.
And even though it was the first time the group was doing their first off-the-beaten-track hike, something tells me that we'll be doing it again! 😄 Thanks for the laughter and goofy fun, guys!

Our last hike of 2020 was probably the most challenging one yet because we hiked through Bukit Brown Cemetery in torrential rain - complete with muddy and flooded trails! The last time I remember walking in such heavy downpour was during NS, so kudos to the kids for persevering through it. In fact, the boys loved it because it was “so much more cooling” while Ale was a little irritated that she got drenched as her poncho was oversized. 😅
But while walking in the rain was an experience in itself, it prevented us from stopping and appreciating the highlight of the hike - super tall trees (2nd & 3rd photos) in the middle of Bt Brown, much like the ones in the Avatar movie. They definitely looked so majestic but unfortunately, we had to keep moving due to the rain. No matter... cos I’m already planning a trip back!
