Have been trying Aveda Nutriplenish products for a while. Here’s my honest review.
I suffered from severe dry hair, and hair thinning issue for years. Between the two, I am more concerned with the latter, which is why I’ve always opted for scalp hair products. They deep cleanse my scalp but at the same time, also leave my hair dry and brittle.
Even so, I’ve always used these products. I’m quite reluctant to try others, concerning that changing might just aggravate my thinning issue. Until recently, Aveda came to me. I decided to give a go as they are vegan based and free from silicones, parabens, etc.
The shampoo is creamy and lathers well. It rinses out quick and easy, and I could feel my hair cleansed and moisturised every time. Together with the use of the conditioner, I can feel the real touch of my natural hair. Unlike some other conditioners, which may give you the sense of having an artificial coating, almost like there’s residue on your hair.
After a few washes, I did find my hair to be softer, bouncier and it seems to have less tangles. Overall they are livelier and happier lol. So for now, I have decided to switch between scalp products and Nutriplenish, trying to give my hair a balance care.
Just one last thing, the scent is however, a little too sweet and intense for my liking 😌
